Green stuff?? Ahhhh..... It's been raining a lot. I think it's grass or ahhh.... mold. Yeah that's it. It's mold.
It feels good to fly low and slow and inverted.

I bet they would. Randy would probably say something like "that's probably not the best performance I've seen from you but that was good dog."
And Paula would probably say something like "you looked nice today and you know I love you. That was very good. Good job."

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
I don't recall anyone using an OS 91 2 stroke on the 46. It's sounds like too much engine to me but since I mostly use 4 strokes I'm not speaking from a whole lot of experience. I could see using the OS 4 stroke. I'm sure someone else will answer on here though. I have the 82 Saito in mine and find that the power is perfect with it. Dunno....... You could try it out and let us know. The Dubro extended servo arms work great for me. I would think that you would want to mount that engine either sideways or right side up to keep it from flooding on start up.

Tower Hobbies has the 46 on sale for $149 - $30 if you are a Super Club member. Also, free shipping. The 60 is $179 -$30.
Great price on a Great plane. I think I'm gonna order a spare. This is the time of year to do it.
Thanks
BArry

Hey everyone, i havent checked the thread in a long time. I have moved from upstate NY to the thin air of CO. I dont have a UCD right now but figured I would see how the thread is doing. Nice to see it is still current.
I burned my old UCD as a sacrifice to the gods before I moved but hope to get another one soon.

RATS! Dawg gone it! I went out to the garage to start on my new Do and found that the wing is bashed in at the right front leading edge. Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!! First time this has ever happened to me. A friend of mine got it from Tower for me. [] [&o]

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
Thanks guys. The move went pretty smooth. I lived here for 10 years and was in NY for 8, its good to be back by family. I had to transport 3 planes so I had to leave a dresser behind. I also brought the wing of a Goldberg Ultimate I am building in the car i drove cross country. It didnt fair to well, but I think its fixable.
I have to get a new head for my Magnum 91 or figure out how to fix the stripped threads that the muffler screws into. The heads are on back order so I may just buy a new one and use the old one for parts. Once i figure that out and get my Showtime in the sky it will be time for a new UCD. I miss doing blenders with that thing.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
Well I called Tower Hobbies this morning and they want me to box the whole plane up and send it back. What a pain in the butt. I would have to wait about 2 weeks to get another one in that case. I think I might just fix it myself and shop someplace other than Tower Hobbies. [>:] I did give me an idea for a totally different Do. I'll post pictures for comment later.

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?
I ususally run digital servos in the tail...at least. I use HS5645 on the Rudder and HS5625 on the elevators and HS645 on the ailerons. It works great. Most will probably say that is overkill, but it sure makes the plane fly good and reduces the risk of flutter.
Thanks
