where me & ghee use to fly, there was a hawk came in the no fly zone, so we went after the violator! ghee went in first and i was the wing man,the hawk bolted and i came in on his "6" and i went under him to loop out over him and it guess he had enough of the yellow attacker the hawk all most took of the tail of my twist!!
kicked in the afterburners to make my escape!! it was great to watch.

NOTICE- (there was no harm done to the bird's at any time we play with them.)

Mix in a bit of rudder to elevator to trim out the rudder/pitch coupling during knive edge. It's a 4 (master) - 2 (slave mix). This occurs because the rudder is higher than the thrust line of the engine. Rudder inputs cause a nose up (towards the canopy during knife edge) attitude. Easy. Rudder left or right, ele down a touch.

Sounds great! I'm going, where and when is it?

I had a little accident w\ my twist again. I took off for the second time of the day and I noticed one wheel was hanging down, I popped it up in a TR and my friend said "yup, looks like you'll be fixing that gear tonight, along w\ the wings after the wheels hit it." So we figured I can hover it and have my friend catch it. But then I thought about how good I can keep it still. So i popped it up again to see if I can keep it still enough for him to grab it, I started backing it down and it fell out, it was LOW, so I gave it full left aileron and it flipped upright and I pulled all the way back on the ele and went to idle, made for a sweet, smooth landing, no damage except for the gearblock coming out!

Yeah, I think I would be weary of catching a Twist out of a hover! [X(]

Say, can you imagine 10 Twists in the air at one time? WOW And if you took your eyes off your Twist for a second, I think you would be pretty much *#@%ed. You would lock onto someone elses Twist and wonder why you have lost control as your Twist twists into the ground

Go to "My Account" and edit it. You have to have your picture pretty small, I think it's like 75x75 pixels or something like that. It took me a while to get it right.

Same here, I had to download photo shop trial version to get mine right.

We should seriously think about having a twist fun fly in. It would be hard to get people that dont have internet access to come and also to keep non-twisters out.
