Default Cloud Dancer 60 tank problems

Hey all, I'm having a problem with my Cloud Dancer 60. I'm flying it with the engine inverted and starting it is a real bear to say the least. The engine floods ( typical inverted engine ) and then it takes all I can do just to get it started. Fuel will run out of the tank just sitting on the flight line. This is a stock mounted tank that came with the kit and everything is installed as per the instructions. I'm wondering if I lower the tank about 1/2!QUOT! if this will help the situation. Any suggestions appreciated.

That's funny... usually I'm asking YOU these questions!!!!!

I had the same prob with my rascal(oh yeah, and the senior- come to think of it) How does the tank sit in relation to the carb? Try dropping the tank a smidge... and bring it out next month so I can see it.

I had a ARF cloud dancer with a TT 61 mounted inverted. If it didn't start first go then it would not start untill I flipped it inverted. I lowered the tank as far as I could but it would still flood. I also never left it the right way up with a tank full of fuel otherwise fuel would drip out the carb.
I never found a solution other than starting the plane upsidedown and then turning over.

IT WILL COST A FEW DOLLARS ( AND WHAT DOESN'T TODAY ) BUT YOU CAN INSTALL A PERRY PUMP IN THE SYSTEM AND THAT SHOLD END THE PROBLEM. I DIDN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MINE WHICH WAS AN ARF WHEN THE PLANE SAT ON THE GROUND, THE NOSE WAS HIGH. I HAD THE WING MOUNTED LANDING GEART AND TAIL WHEEL.

IT WAS A GREAT FLYING AEROPLANE WITH AN OS 91 FOUR STROKE.

I ALSO USED A THIRD FUEL LINE FOR FILLING AND I RAN THE THIRD LINE TO THE BACK OF THE TANK WITH A LINE AND CLUNK. THIS WAY THE LINE CAN BE USED FOR FUELING AND DEFEULING.

GOOD LUCK

Thanks guys for all your suggestions. I'm going to lower the tank and add a perry pump that I have laying around here some place, lets see, yep it's on the back of my Rossi so it should be easy to connect.
