I would think that anything more than 45 or 50cc would be out of the question.

Gidday Folks

heres mine.
Just finished build and first days flying, burnt a coolpower size bottle of fuel
Long ez 46 chinese (builder stamp 346) red nose, white fuse and wings with blue trim.

Fitout
os46ax os8 plug factory muffler turned around with baffle no back outer half, ( plenty of power for this model and I'm yet to fully lean it out)
coolpower blue synthetic oil at 20% nitro at 10%
prop 10x6 APC, tons of ground clearance
futaba 3001 on all controls, futaba 6 ch rx
battery nimh aa x4 in the nose, will change to sub C as more usefull than dead weight
10 min engine run time approx.

Flight controls
main wing elevons with approx 8 mm ( at TE) of elevator travel and 15mm aileron
canard approx 15 mm neatral positon adjustable alot in flight via knob ( elevator trim only trims elevon)

Mods

cog currently 125 behind main leading edge where it meets the fuse ( could prob go back a little but in another couple of tanks) I added lots of weight approx 300 g heaps (comment below)
nose gear tray mount reinforced alot
glue fillets installed everywhere
main gear legs, throw away and fit decent one, original had crack and spolit new prop ( should have stopped flying ! )
dubro front leg and wheel mount and inclined rearward just below spring immeadiatly under fuse
main wing rotated about wing tube leading edge, LE lower by 12mm
elevator and nose wheel servo linkages changed to ball links.

mods I plan to do

move tank to in front of wing tube
elevon reduce aileron down throw to 50 % for starters as it yaws excessivly with aileron input
back off the elevon elevator function to about 5mm tops

thoughts
my first ever Chinese $120 arf
terrible kit,
maybe mr Chinese Builder stamp number 346 was having a bad day, offering root of main wings together on wing tube one is 6 mm shorter !! and is 3 mm smaller in thickness for first 80 mm from LE *** !!
lucky I bought another blokes ( 355 builders stamp) who's wings mated up better
main gear is crap
elevator surface torque wire solder is bird**** and surfaces were drilled incorrectly so each half of elevator TE were 5mm different in trim position !!! *** again !!
COG
today proggesivly added alot of weight to tone down its tendancy to get ugkly quick ! awful.
once cog foward it's becoming more fun to fly,

Flying

Taxi.
Full elevator fwd and hold it there whenever on the ground, !! as expected full roll into wind during x wind. this baby is able to taxi fast with practise.
Takeoff
MUST be into wind for beginners (and me), use your aerial telltale wool yarn
Full stick back hold it there and slowly advance throttle to full open the throttle, keep it straight (practise aborting) until just off then check fwd and accellerate in ground effect, works a charm easy as !!!
Stall wings level 150 ft
Reduced power to idle and progressivly added rear elevator it got mushy in roll as you'd expect, it did fall into one spin easily recovered with releasing back stick. yet to explore high speed and inverted.
Turns
Feels like the aileron differential needs some tweaking will try 50 % down
Landing
nice )))))))))))))))))))))))

floats and floats and floats, slowly rotate to full stick back on touchdown ,
super grease !!
so forgiving,
bring on the next bottle of fuel !!

canards ROCK !!

Your posts make it appear that you have some valuable experience with this particular model. I hope you can help me with mine. As is with everyone else, the lack of decent instructions goes without saying. The model seems to be fairly well built, could use some extra adheasive in some critical spots. Most parts fit very snug with no play which made the wing/canard alignment perfect the first time. Bends in the canard push rod to get alignment with servo is not a favorite choice for installation but should cause no flight issues. Did you position the fuel tank hard against the firewall or leave room to use the factory hole for the fuel lines? After reading all the posts related to this ARF I find that most builders have a white or yellow aircraft. I purchased mine at a recent swap meet, still in the original box with all bags still sealed but nowhere on any parts or the labeled box is there any reference to who's product it is. The covering on the model is a very very light grey with blue striping. Any ideas ??

Thanks

Gary
