A Take-Apart Stick!!!!!...... The rumor is true, Stick Flyers Rule!...

It's actually been quite warm here the past few days! Yesterday was about 32 or so, it felt so nice. Granted we are used to -20 for awhile so anything above 0 feels nice!

Heat wave here in Michigan today - 45 degrees. We haven't seen that in two months.

When I was stationed in Minot, I can remember going outside to BBQ and play volleyball in shorts and T-shirts when it was 32 degrees outside! Then again, we were used to -40 ambient temps, and -75 or more with the wind chills factored in[:'(]! Summers were nice though, all two and a half months of it[:@]. (Snow on the 4th of June!)

Well, more progress yesterday, Door is framed, and all sheeting is up. Will get pictures up soon. Ice storm last night has caused us to be stuck in the house, everything is ice! It looks fine until you try to walk on what you think is gravel, its completely covered in ice.

Try not to send anymore of that cold weather down here. Looks like a nice day to go flying this evening.

Oh quit rubbing it in. Why dont you send some of that warm weather up here?

Hey guys. Sorry for no progress lately, its been busy around here. Dad has been swamped at work, I at School. Plus its been cold! I will be sure to post progress as soon as some is made.

hey all, sorry for the slow/no progress lately...with dad swamped with work, I with school, and with Track starting tomorrow, its only the weekends if the weather decides to be nice. Well its for models only, the garage will be for working on our cars...hopefully it will be adequate.

Nice Cave! You sound like my dad and I. We have about 9 built but unflyable models. With the completion of the man cave, we will have no reason not to get them flying. The unflyable airplane that we have that i really want to get flying again is our 1/3 scale Flybaby Bipe from Balsa USA. It needs recovering. Dang covering is so expensive though! We also have about 9 or 10 flyable models. And two 1.20 size Extra 300s's that are need to be built.

My husband was always on about buying a FW-190 from our local model shop.
He went on and on, but I wouldn't give in.
I had to have a small operation to remove a benign tumour from my arm. It was done as an out-patient procedure. On our way home we passed the model shop. "Let's pop in to see what they have", said he. Of course, we came out carrying a 72" FW-190, retracts etc etc, and me thinking "How did that happen?"
It's still unstarted.
The purchase was in 1984!

Nope, but they come in many other colors. White/Blue (UA), White/red/blue (Delta), and blue and grey (Midwest). I fly for Skywest Airlines based out of Ohare.
