Default This isn't going to work... Is it?

Howdy,
I have 2 Tx/Rx sets I can use laying around for a Kinetic 800 mini glider I ordered. I am use to flying mini planes/helis with stock supplied 2.4GHz TXs with 4AA power source (Low power I guess). This kinetic is more capable than any other aircraft I have owned so I am worried the stock Tx/Rx sets I have are inadequate.
Here is what I have

Tx/Rx from Belt CP V2 (totaled) esky et6i 6ch
http://www.esky-heli.com/esky-transm...ath=340_352_71

Tx/Rx from Eflite CX3 LP5DSM and 3in1 receiver
This system shouldnt work since the receiver has a gyro built in. Right?

The Esky controller is definitely on the cheap side and I dont think 4AA power source is enough for the range.

So I have been looking around and money is tight right now. I do not have the cash to spend on a tx/rx over 100 dollars for now. Only options are the FS-ct6b for 40 bucks 6ch or FS-TH9X 9 channel.

I've been trying to find good reviews on these two products and I have on the FS-TH9X but havent found much on the ct6b. My thing is I dont mind paying for the FS-TH9X but if it isnt that great of a system then I would rather spend it on the ct6b and upgrade early next year.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is the plane I ordered with 6 800mAh S3 turnigy batts

If you buy either of those systems they might work for a while. But even if they do, you'll have spent your money and won't have a system that you can resell or use for anything else. If it absolutely must be under $100, get a Spektrum DX5 with receiver for $99. If you shop around, you might find a used one for a bit less. If you plan to stay in the hobby beyond just tooling around with a glider (great fun I've heard) then consider the Spektrum DX6i for around $160. For the extra $60, you'll get programming that will improve the feel and precision of your planes, leading to fewer mishaps, and you'll be able to program multiple plane setups into the transmitter.

Yea I read about the dx6i, its upgradeable too right? I can wait till the next pay day to purchase it. ehh 2 weeks isn't that long of a wait. Just wish towerhobbies would carry it.
Just noticed the futaba 6j is around the same price and tower has an easy pay plan for it.

I think i may purchase the futaba.
