Is it wrong?

Let's see here.
Is it wrong...no way,
do you need help like the rest of us, absolutely,
will you get that help, absolutely no way, this is way too much fun. [X(]
Lets see, I've been in this for a little over 7 months, I have just about sold off all of my glow planes as I am converting over to gas, do I hear all the time from people in the club and the LHS I work at about how many planes I have, heck yes, until I tell them I only have 5, all of them in flyable condition. They just see me with the newest toys all the time, never even thinking I have gotten rid of the rest since most of them never sell any of their stuff and have 10+ radios, 30+ planes and enough spare parts to start their own LHS.
Talk about obsesive, compulsive, you bet.
As far as the wife is concerned, I traded her in on my SIG Sundancer, just kidding, she has her hobbies, I have mine and we both support each others need to have fun with each other as well as on our own. She helps me by calling out the IMAC sequences (she has no desire to fly but loves to watch), and I help her build custom signs by cutting the wood. I am lucky, I do not have to sneek anything.

Bubba: Have you flown that SIG sundancer yet? Putting a gasser in it? What setup are you going to use? I'm wanting to go a little bigger myself and have considered this plane. Of course, I have to have a smoker system in it!

twistr,
Nah, it's still in the box but after a pretty close inspection it is typical SIG, not a wrinkle to be found and very solid construction.
I ordered a FPE 3.2 for it and the mounts that SIG has in stock for the 3.2 to make it fit in the cowl and was going with the Sullivan skywriter system for it. I also decided my JR6102 was no longer enough so I just ordered a JR9303. Boy I need help, will I get it, no way.
Servos are going to be Hitech 5945 all around which is defintely overkill because according to the book they used Hitech 635-MG all around.
Make sure you get the updated ARF. There was a problem with the upper wing mounts and SIG did send out the hardware needed to correct this to the people that had one and to the LHS's that had them in stock, this was about6 months ago. There is a thread here on RCU that concerns this. My kit had the updated hardware and instructions in the box.

I did get the chance to fly one and it flew as well as my Carl Goldberg Ultimate. But then again, as far as I am concerned the best bipe I have ever flown is the Ultimate. Mine flats spins both upright and inverted all day long at half throttle and will just sit there and not lose or gain altitude unless I lower or raise the throttle. The engine is a YS110 turning an APC 16X6 prop and all sevos are Hitech 5645 with 2 elevator servos instead of the carbon rod the ARF comes with.
I cannot wait to get this Sundancer in the air. With the 3.2 they recommend it's going to be a really strong plane

I'm also looking at the ultimate. I see you like that plane too. Do you have smoke in it?

I really love my Ultimate It now has a YS110 with an APC 16x6, has Hi-tech 5645's in the wings and on pull-pull rudder and also I installed the elevator servos in the tail. all rods are carbon fiber and the tank is a 16oz on the CG. The plane needed absolutely no weight and only weighs in at 8.5Lbs dry
Takeoffs are at half throttle, hovers at half throttle and pulls out quickly, rolls are very axial, Snaps are a thing of beauty, both inverted and upright flats spins can be leveled out at half throttle and will sit and spin for as long as I want and any increase in throttle and it will start to climb. Inverted flight needs only a touch of elevator. Knide Edge took a little mixing on both pitch and roll but it wasn't too bad.
If you want to fly IMAC it does it very well and is right up there with my 1/4 scale extra.
The only bad thing is the ground handling in a direct crosswind. That big rudder just makes it want to weathervane but in the air it's very solid. I bought the plane used and added the engine and servos. As far as I know it had about 100 flights on it when I bought it and I have done 113 flights on it. The only thing it ever has needed is the landing gear plate popped out on a rather hard bounce whe I screwed up on a harrier landing.
After flying a club members Sundancer, I think it will be just like the Ultimate, only larger
Sorry about the long reply, as you may be able to tell, I really like my Ultimate

No, Don't apologize! I am currently in the fact finding/researching mode trying to figure out which plane to get next. All information is welcomed and helpful! I definitely want a bipe. Can't decide on size (will definitely be 60 or up), gasser or large 4 stroke. Definitely want smoke too. I hear the larger 4 strokes are real thirsty. If I go sundancer, I'll probably do gasser.

My YS110 gets about 20 minutes on a 16oz tank since I really only fly around half throttle most of the time with the occasional full throttle vertical climbout from a hover or going vertical for a stall turn or Knife Edge loop
I have flown the:
CG Ultimate
DP Ultimate
Aeroworks Ultimate
SIG Hog Bipe
Sundancer
Of cource my favorite is the CG Ultimate, with the Sundancer second and then the SIG Hog Bipe. The DP Ultimate was nice as well as the Areoworks Ultimate but I did not feel they were as good as the CG Ultimate.
With the CG you have the option of doing either the single elevator servo in the fuselage or the dual servos as I did. Smoke on any of them is mostly determined by the engine. Gas definitely produces better smoke as they run hotter but the YS110 should do well. I just need the smoke muffler and I could do it.
The CG Ultimate cannot go gas as I have not found a gas engine as light as the YS110. The only thing close is the RCS 1.40 but it is almost 10oz heavier than the YS110. The SIG hog bipe will not be able to gas at all and the Aeroworks and DP ones can go gas if you use the RCS 1.40
As far as room for the smoke system, they all have plenty of room.
