On this plane the tourque rods went in after the joing of the wing if i remember correctly. I have kinda just let it sit on hold for a bit. I feel stupid because i went to the hobby shop, and got the tail wheel collars i needed and totally forgot the tourque rods. I also got some other things for the V-Stick. This project is really on hold for a bit. I have kinda got to the point where i am forcing myself out, and i need to order 2 rolls of covering, that is like 25 bucks, but i need alot more stuff too while i am getting the covering. (Quick Charger, Voltemeter, and odds and ends.)
I just was going to give an update.

You can get the wing kit but you will also need the plans.
Unfortuneatly they do not list wings in the ARF parts section

Actually, they do list the ARF wings. Here is the page:

A little pricey but the decision will be yours.
Good luck.

Sorry, link not quite rigt but here is p/n for red wing:
SIGRPWK244ARFR 2 other colors avail also. Link will get you close.

It's been a while since we covered this so once again. Is the tank padded all around and on the ends (or not touching framework)? Are the bubbles getting to the needle valve? I have seen people put an in-line filter in the clunk line (inside tank) and have that cure the problem.

Yes they are.
I will look into that.

Worst thing it will do is help keep dirt out of the needle. Can't lose there.
Still have bubbles (lots) between needle and carb? And can you hear or detect engine operation change caused by them?
Fuselage may just be vibrating too much because there is no wing to absorb/dampen the energy. Just attach your Superstar wing temporarily with some rubber bands or something and see if that helps (Don't use 4* wing as it is uncovered and you don't want fuel/oil on it yet). Also see if lifting off ground helps (simulates flying conditions more). Be careful with running motor

Bruce,
I can detect engine difference, that the main reason i am worried. I will pick up a fuel filter tommrow and check it out. Also will have the wing covered fully by thursday.

Take your time on the wing and do it right. Remember, SLOW DOWN, ENGAGE BRAIN. You may have remembered the antenna if you weren't hurrying and done a good pre-takeoff control check(every flight). SLOW DOWN and enjoy life more, it's not going anywhere.

Bruce,
The wing is right now. The covering on it will be like a a drum.
I weighed the plane with wing on and it was just at 6 pounds. Is the extremely heavy for this model?
That was with about 3/4 tank

Here are checklists that Piper_chuck and I put together some time ago
http://www.krcs748.com/checklist
They will certainly help and include a preflight

From the Sig website [link]http://www.sigmfg.com[/link]
If your plane weighs in at 6 pounds then it is very heavy for this type of plane.

Chad... How are you test running that engine, on the fuse? It sounds like you are when you're talking about having padding all around the fuel tank. If you are running the engine mounted on the fuse, do you have the uncovered wing bolted to it? Or, is the fuse clamped to a bench? If it is clamped to a bench then this could be making vibration worse.

Holy cow!!! 6lbs for a 4*40? That thing will NEVER fly. You need to buy a new kit and start over. And this time DON'T use epoxy to assemble the fuselege.
#224

It will fly but it won't glide like it should, especially with the wing clipped. Landings will have to be flown faster and takeoff speed will be higher as will be stall speed.
Have you carefully removed all of the plywood from the wings that you put in there for the servos? You know, the Home Depot wood that is the same as the LIGHTER LHS wood. The pieces that span 2 bays instead of one and weigh twice what they shoud have? Be careful taking them out not to cause more damage. And all the LEGOMEN are gone, right?
And you haven't even set the CG yet , have you
