disconnect the push rod from the nose gear and servo,by hand move the rod, it should move freely,if not then redo or replace the rod,I use Sullivan Gold-N-Rods but try to install straight with the least amount of bends. If rod moves freely then check wheel for binding.

I had this same problem. You should have a tube for the pushrod, make sure that its not 'pinched' tight between the tank and the fuse wall, or anything else. Also, make sure that the pushrod has a strait path to the nosegear (servo and pushrod exit are on the same side of the fuse insted of). I used some airgun cleaning oil on mine to loose'n it up a bit. If you are using the smaller diamiter pushrods, you may want to try a bigger one.
Once you get it, it wont take much to turn the plane... very little is needed.
Hope this helped out a little.

Hi Terrell Flyer: I use cables on all my nose wheels, I have 10 planes. All but 1 are trike gear, and have had no trouble with ground handeling. Take off rolls are straight as an arrow flying off Astro turf that needs to be replaced. I do brace the outer sleeve about every 3" to reduce the flex problem. As for running a cable from the throttle, I can see where if you have a connection come loose, it could cause rx interference but again I've had no problems. I also use plastic clevises for The throttle unless the throttle arm is plastic like on my Saito. I check everything, every nut, bolt, and screw, about every third flight. Now when I build a gasser, I will not use a cable because of all the post I've read that state cables do cause rx interference, The instructions that come with the ign. even warn against useng metal for throttle. Always happy to help if I can. Garry
