Ok. Personally I think getting the Stryker C is the best thing to do.
But if you want my 2 cents on the matter of the 2000kv motor then I say you wont need it.
Have you been to horizonhobby.com and looked at the videos of the stryker C in action?
A thing of beauty if you ask me. I just dont see me needing any more speed or power than that on a stryker.
Videos here

Go to that link and look to the right of the page under the green "Don't Forget To Buy" heading
On my micro jet the motor I got will get the plane to do 100+mph easy... I'm actually quite worried abou that.
I started chaning out the parts tonight and will finish and maiden fly it tomorrow Deeeeeep breath
I'm making sure not to get excited cuz it's then you make all the mistakes especially the silly ones like not range checking, control surface checking, trimming for laungh,
just really easy common sence stuff that if you don't do, you can easily crash and end the life of your plane.
It happened to me last week with the micro jet. Seems I Busted a control arm on landing and did not realize it (so only one servo on was able to move).
I just launched again after changing the battery and down she went Bent up the nose quite bad but luckly it got straight again no sweat! Tomorrow? Big day Biiiiiiig Day
I'll see about getting some pics up.
Good luck to you!
xero.

Sounds like your having some great fun with your new plane. I remember when I was having all of those experiences which you are having now
So your going to upgrade your stryker B huh?.
I woulddnt discourage you from trying that at all. I just believe that it is much easier on the pockets to just get a whole brand new C version than buying all the parts needed to upgrade a B.
But hey more power to ya! again good to hear your doing great
Happy flying

hm that is where i cant help at all. i have never had a stryker C so i know zip about how the radio works.. you will need to check your manual or horizon hobby parkzone for that
as for the charger problem try this link
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXUF47&P=V
i suspect that the item which you got from radio shack is under rated for what your lipo chargers need
this item fromtower hobbies should more than do the trick.
hope this helps, sorry i coulddnt be much help with the radio though. never had a stryker C you know.
Im just about finishing my F-16 build hehe i can wait
happy flying dude
