What do you base that statement on? One successful flight on an Aerobird before crashing it?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but there is a big difference between landing very well "most of the time" on a sim and doing it in real conditions. Don't rush this, that Superstar will be much less forgiving than the Aerobird you put into the ground.

I have found that the landings are actually far easier than the take offs, when you mix wind and ground conditions into the flight, it becomes much more difficult.

I had about 10 flights on the buddy box without any instructor input before I soloed for the first time.

i flew my Superstar about 10 times last year but my dad didnt let me try aproaches. a couple days ago i got to fly the Superstar for the first time this year on the buddy box with a much better teacher and helped me to land for my first time(in real life). so ive already got 1 landing and it was pretty easy. he said that i could probably solo the next time i come out. if its nice out, were going to go out tomarrow and fly. hope i can do it!
