Hi
I´m a beginner and i equipped my nextar with flaps after a few flights today i try to use them. The airplane reduce the airspeed so quickly, i fear a stall and land without them.
My quetion is: I remove the speedbrakes when i put the flaps should i remove also the spincontrol airfoil extensions ?
Thanks
note: sorry my english

Did you follow the Hobbico instructions and cut the ailerons to make the flaps? If you haven't, then don't. You don't want to reduce the amount of aileron area, and flaps are not required for landing this plane. Just remove the speed brakes and wing tip droops - the plane flies much better without them.

yes take the wing droops off. also since you already cut the flaps out, you should give the ailerons alittle more throw to make up for the loss of surface area. that's what i'd do anyway

I will remove the wing droops and you are right about the aileron area i will test it.

And you don't have to use FULL flaps for the first flights. Just put a little down and get used to them. Later add a little more on future flights until you find what works best for YOU.
Get some extra altitude and practice slow flight with the flaps extended. Get used to the handling with some spare altitude for stall recovery.
