Trying to do all the hinges fast ca was going everywhere I had to use my slot cutter to cut one elevator apart from the wing the gap was to tight and so on….</p></span>

I like the looks of those hinges. You have the benefit of nylon hinges without the worry that you are going to get glue into pins. I think those are what I am going to use.

Installing CA hinges is an easy job, but it has to be done correctly. Every one of my glow powered planes have CA hinges and work just fine and there is hardly a noticeable gap. In fact, on my Skylark 70, one of the "club pro's" commented that he thought I had sealed the gap on my ailerons and elevator because he couldn't really see a gap. And, they work just fine with no binding and no throw problems.
Follow the instructions we've posted several times here on RCU (do a search on CA hinges and read through.. you'll find many references to how to install them correctly.</p>

Iused to use them all the time on my basic small planes like Up-Roars and Telemasters, they work great and Ifound them if not easier at least cleaner then CA hinges. {I'm a CA pig!!} Iused Pacer Hinge Glue and it cleans up very well with water. Iinstalled them just like a CA hinge as far as my slots go. Icut the slot then drill a hole in the center of the slot so Ican get the glue in the complete width of the slot. On a big plane like the Sr. Telemaster Ialso drilled a hole through the LE/TE and hinge then glued a tooth pick through them to safety pin them. That was just a me thing and not something you must do, it was just a habit I got into because of the stress Iput a fun fly plane through.

What I mean is, they are ok if you like them. Many of us have successfully used CA hinges and are very happy with them. If you want to use the nylon hinges, hey, knock yer'self out. With CA hinges, one reason I like them so much is you set the hinge in place, add CA, and voila, you're done.
There is no waiting for Epoxy to cure while hoping that they don't move out of place. Just my opinion, I guess, and as I said, it comes down to personal preference. What works for you, well, works!

While I have used CA hinges, I really don't care for them, and have had them rip in flight (and seen others with the same issue). Those Hayes hinges will work, and I have used that style (Hayes and Sig) in the past but there are better hinges to use.

Any time you flex plastic it will start to create a failure line at the point where its being flexed. Pinned hinges don't have that problem with a steel pin to rotate around. If you use [link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCX67&P=7]ZAP hinge glue[/link] they won't pull out either. I always use a piece of toothpick to anchor my hinges into the wood just out of habit for safety.

There's nothing wrong with CA hinges. In fact, on a 40 size plane they are probably one of the better choices for hinging when we discuss them in context of the beginner's forum here. IMHO they are easier to install properly than the Hayes hinges you listed above. But if you choose the Hayes hinges, there is nothing wrong with them and will work for what you need them do do. The choice is yours, but if I were choosing between the two hinges in this installation I would choose the CA hinges.

And to add to what RCKen and several of us have said, I like them, and most beginners find them easy to use and set up very quickly. You either see your success or failure right away! Then, if satisfied, move on.. if not, remove them (cut them with a razor or Xacto knife), shift the hinge point an inch or so and do it again. Easy and simple, and a good learning tool.

When true CA hinges arrived on the market it blew those poly or so called flexable plastic's right out of the water they are so much better. Polys had and still has the worst failure rate of all types of hinge and CA hinge are far easier to use.
Very few suppliers still make polys and their is a really big reason for that. Thank heavens most Arf's now come with some sort of CA hinge and even they have abandoned the polys.
As for Hayes - Yup the very best fuel tank systems avaliable and the only type I use on my new airplanes but the hinges, no thank you.

Try some Mercury Adhesives, and some of their applicator tips. AWESOME stuff, the tips can be trimmed down several times before "running out", and Mercury CA never EVER goes off in the bottle.

Is that the brand name??? I buy the tips by the box and have a jar of acetone on my bench to drop them into when they gum up, that works pretty good. Ijust tend to over do things and get the glue running onto places it shouldn't go. It's a me thing.
On my own planes I usethe Dubro flat hinges or hinge pins. Going back to Pacer hinge glue is a safe guard against myself.

Now here's something that is ironic...
people are saying "I don't like CA Hinges" and "Those Hayes hinges look good"
Those Hayes hinges are the same material as CA hinges, they just don't have the fiberous coating on them!
Gluing in the hinges was always one of my least-favorite chores until CA Hinges came along. They are so easy to install, but they must be insatlled properly - but again, installing them properly is a piece of cake.
Look at this:
