Also another ? I have a confirmed good battery. When I flip the switch on, the servos twitch. When I try the controller, I get nothin. What should I check?

If yes, and if you have not gotten the correct crystals, it is not going to work.

If you have a TX that can be operated in eitherPCMor PPMmode, make sue the mode is set correctly for your RX. I cost me near $40 because I didn't check and sent the RX in for repair. The reciver and servos will act as you describe if the mode is wrong.

I will take closer look. I just a quick look with a pick. It didn't catch, but I will clean it and set some oil in the area and see if oil seeps through. I looked on tower for the arm but all I see is the carb.

Hi!
Many newbies just bolt their engines down on a plastic mount without checking the mounting lugs for trueness (so that they are level).
Othervise the crank case can get bent and crack

Cant recall in over 50 plus years of messing with motors that I ever saw a mount on a motor that was not stright and level - Guess I missed a few over time but never had a crscked case eather from mounting- That was starting at the time of McCoy red heads and brown jrs , and Hornets up to present day motors
Nope the Skydivers dont have motors
