your right up2lt420 the nem is no joke....
its kinda hard to help without seeing or hearing the truck lol but ill try and help as much as i can
yea but try putting in a new glow plug.
and for the rolling over and diying try a little bit longer fuel line, and MAKE SURE the engine is real tight.
and if none of that solves is post back and let me know im sure i can help you ive been playing with nitro engines for 6 years

I assume my theory is similar to yours, please let me know if you agree. The Clutch springs get softer over time due to heat and cause the clutch to engage at a lower RPM and therefore stalling the engine? I've been having the same issue on a Savage where it stalls intermittantly every few minutes and a light went off when I saw your post.

yea i have a few savages...but any way yea your pretty much right ,when the srpings wear down they dont pull the shoe back and they grab on to the clutch bell and when u try and stop it is trying to go and then when u come to a stop the shoe catchs the cutch bell and stops the flywheel...oh and 1 more thing the shoe srping can also break from stress and cause the same thing[8D]

yea thats the problem the springs, cause when you hit something and make the tires stop it will die because of the srings
so take your engine out and check before you buy the parts[8D]

I sounds like a clutch issue...
although you vented bell could be binding......
check your engine mount screws!!!
the mesh not only needs to be set correctly but the motor has to be pointing straight
the easiest was to get a killer mesh is to disconnect the pipe during engine/mesh set-up
