I bought my Genesis on Ebay, and who ever set it up has the motor alignment wrong, the second gear pinion is hitting the second gear clutch housing and has worn teeth marks into the edge of the clutch, and the first gear spur is rubbing on the motor clutch, can the motor be moved back or is this a shim issue on the clutch assembly?

Sure the motor can be moved back some, but you my need to remove a him from the pinion gears too. The only real way to tell is to see a pic of it, Think you can get a goodclear pic of the motor from the bottom and of the clutch setup? that would help alot!!
