It is a 'GO' here. Just get me the details (and Henry's phone number) and I'll 'get the ball rolling'

Great News! Please increase my order from 2 to 4? I can now commit to a total of four Hanno sets.
Thanks!

We need to send our money for the orders to Willy.
The amount will be $95 per set. Willy has already volunteered to be our representative and has the capital to place the order. If we start sending him the money now, we can help him out on trying to cover our complete cost. Thanks SOOO much Willy.
Now on shipping. I will be covering the cost of shipping to ONE piont. Then te sets need to be distributed to each person. If willy is able to do this, then I guess we're set with that as well. If not I can take care of this part of the load. USPS is pretty cheap on this side. I can get a real price on Saturday (when I'm off).
Now to hunt down some more ARs... I think there's a couple in Georgia...at least I hear them starting up from time to time in between dirt bikes engines.

since i am "just" a sports flyer i like to ask if the liner for the "plain" (side exhaust ) liner is the same as the rear (hano special) version?
Becouse the fs-p has a peeling liner so i doubt it will last long

Hi Guys,
I will place the order. Pay for everything up front (Henry gets one BIG check). WHEN I get the parts I will post my address here and you can mail me a money order for the total. I will include whatever cost for packing and shipping. I will be looking into shipping options as well as purchasing packing materials. Henry will not start before he has $$ in hand which I estimate will be about 2 weeks. I will let you know what he determines to be the delivery date. Depending on the actual number of sets ordered and the amount of money I have, I plan to order some extra sets since I suspect this will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
If you have questions/comments please post them here or PM me.
Thanks,
Will BArtlett

Flywilly, The best bet is through the US post office for these. You can get boxes for free and the cost is a lot less then other means of shipping. Best thing too is any people who are out of the US will get better rates too since they ship international at very reasonable prices. You can also do all of your shipping labels from your PC here:
http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatep...lculatepostage
You will even save a little by doing this online. You just print the label, tape it to the box and drop it off. If you really want to make it easy.... they also have a "Flat rate" box. That means what ever you can put in it..... the price is fixed. Just go to the post office and take a few minutes to ask about the flat rate boxes and there cost (I do not know off the top of my head) and pick up some boxes to gear up for sending these. Hope this helps.

I hesitate to say weather or not these Hanno sets will work in the SF-P due to those reliefs in the SF piston...I just don't know...
I've been told the Hanno liner will work in the "Standard RF" just fine...But then again the pistons for the RF and the Hanno version are the same...
Anyone??

This may be one of those things that you have to dig to find one...I know a year and a half ago they were still listed on Towers website...They have since gone... [&o]

Confirm for me (use to be navav2002..he he) :
4 - Hanno sets
2 - AR sets (Hopefully more later if I can swing it??)
Will:
Do you remember from "back in the day"...How does the AR liner do in the standard YS 61R Long Stroke?? Or is there even a different Shadel liner for the AR and the LS?? (like there is for the std RF-P and the Hanno)
I have read comments like: "The Shadel liner was the performance mod for the YS engines"..But I've never really seen allot of discussion about the differences between the AR (which came from the factory with the AAC liner) and the regular Long Stroke engines... (That is until I came along..
)
I think we all learned allot about the OS engines in the kewl Hanno thread...There seems to be a little less info about the YS's...
Thanks...
Chuck

Thanks again for all the info you've been feeding us Chuck. I am now officially out of control with gathering up these engines. I count, off the top of my head, about 12 .61 rear exhaust engines that I now have. (Rossi, OS, and of course, YS) Yes it has been a while since I had a steak dinner, nut now I need to find planes for these engines. I guess I needed to lose some weight anyway.

YES. I have placed the order with Henry (Nelson Competition Engines). Henry has given me an approximate time frame of 2 months before he can start our order. This is a busy time for him. He is going to email me when he starts the actual work. It could take him as much as a month to finish the order. Henry chromes and fits each piston/cylinder himself.
When I get more information I will update. Meanwhile, please try to be patient!

Will Bartlett
