I got a preview Rick, I'm gonna have to watch the whole thing later. Very cool and thanks for posting.
I hope this doesn't bother you. I wanted to post a picture of a buck that lives on property where I work. He's huge. I took these pictures from our car while my wife drove. I've never seen a buck this big before that was not on the television. The pictures are blurry but it gives you an idea of how big he is. I've seen him 3 different times and I got a good count at 12 points.
Blessings,
Jay

SOS is for **** on a shingle. I was in the AirForce and I loved it. Its made with ground beef
you melt some butter and add flour and and some hot sauce and add the fried ground beef.
Then you put it on a slice of toast (thats the shingle) I think there are different ways to makeit
for different branches of the service. about 15 or 20 years ago when I was working in a steel mill I worked with a man named Frank. We got to talking about the service and he was in the AirForce also and said he was a cook. He gave me recipe for it and I have been makeing it
at least 2 or 3 times a month ever since. I realy injoyed the video I was a crewchief on a few
different fighters in the Phillipines.

Rick, I only got through the first 10 minutes but I will watch it entirely when I get a chance. I just LOVE movies like that. Thanks for sharing the link.
Jay, that surely IS a magnificent buck. I bet you look for him each day going into work.
My B400 is finally back up and flying. It took so long because I decided to replace the frame after the last crash. I broke one of the landing skid mounts. While I tore it all down, I added the tail belt speed up gear. I've only tested it briefly but didn't notice much more tail authority. [:'(]
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the upcoming Christmas holiday.

I'm glad you got the 400 back up and running. It will be interesting to hear how the tail speed increase feels, let us know.

My nephew is attending Robert Morris College ( I think that's the name at least) out near Pittsburg. He's a freshman this year.

Rick if you get hold of a battery lead I would recommend charging and 100mah or 0.1a on your charger. Other than that a bit of soldering and you should be fine.

Rick,
Thanks for sharing the video, I really enjoyed it. Makes you think.
Jay,
Super big buck, where's that black powder when ya need it.
Still using the wheel barrow. Weather isn't bad, temp is good, no snow, just the lousy wind is always going here in the Indy area. Looks like next year before I get outside. However, I've been taking the helis to work, when I work on Saturdays and fly in the mechanics area. 20 foot ceilings, about 50 wide and 150 long. Lot's of fun there.
Jim / Wnuk,
Have you figured out which battery charger you may want to purchase, always a hard decision on that issue. Especially, if you plan on going with a bigger heli down the road.
Carl,
YIKES! I love the SOS... We have it several times a month. The wife makes a excellent white sauce. For a little added color and nutrition, try adding a half a can of peas to the recipe.. Unless you hate peas of course.
The SOS tastes great and is really inexpensive to make. Sometimes, I'll pre-cut the toast into small squares, for easier eattin'..
To All:
Stripped a couple servos on the HBK2, they are the stock 8G analog servos. Just for experimenting to see what happens, I ordered 4 of the Esky 7.5 Digital Servos. We'll see what happens with them and I'll let you know the outcome.. I ordered them Monday of this week, so, I should have them Friday and installed this weekend.. First, Saturday me and the wife have to go buy a new toilet.
Ours is 40 years old, internal parts broken and has been manufactured discontinued.. So, off to Menards, Saturday for a new flusher.
About a 2 hour job, been there done that before...
Take care guys and keep 'er flying,
Dave

Hey All,
My Mom used to make the best SOS, or as she called for our young ears, "chipped beef on toast." That was a favorite of mine. Man I'm really hungry now
Rick , I look forward to your video's. You seem to have a great knack for finding the best. It's very much appreciated![8D]
Dave, I put my wheel barrow away for the winter. No flying lately just cutting graphics for the P-51. Slow going but keeps me busy.
I hope All are doing well. Tomorrow is Friday! Be happy and make someone smile tomorrow
God Bless Y'all[8D]

Got a problem. I ordered a 40a ESC, and a UBEC for my 450. Been having probs with the Dynam 30a ESC getting hot and kicking out. Battery stays decient, motor isn't getting very warm compared to the ESC. I did a test by unplugging all servos to ensure they weren't causing a large power draw, the ESC still got hot......I'm thinking bad ESC. Tested with two different motors with the same results so I don't suspect motors. I know Dynam isn't the best in the world and my old Copter X ESC was way better than the Dynam. I think I bought a decient 40a ESC( HobbyWing Pentium Brushless ESC 40A-OPTO) UBEC is (1 x 3A 5V/6V Switch-Mode UBEC (UBEC56))....I hope this clears the ESC heat problem, what do you think?

LMAO...if it says "E-Flite" on it.....I just wouldn't own it. I'll just NEVER get the bad taste out of my mouth from the Blade CP/CP-Pro's I owned....spit, choke, cough, vomit.

Vic,
Enter what you have roughly into this calculator ~ http://dhrc.rchomepage.com/calcAdvanced.htm It should tell you what your pulling for amps. I don't think a 30 should get hot. I've done the UBEC thing before and found I've never really needed it. Companies rate their stuff low so they can't be held accountable for misuse issues.
Blessings,
Jay
