Hey there Guys and Gals, I’m trying to put my Blade CP Pro On my 7CAP Futaba having some tech difficulties setting this up. I thought I could do it but I can’t. I got the ailerons elevator done and throttle not done and or the rudder. And also not sure about the pitch curve I guess it is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyones Futaba 7CAP Settings would rock.

9c names some of the menu's different, but the settings will be the same. If you have specific questions I can grab my TX and answer.

Let me tell you, before you try it - whole new heli with these TX's - I use no dual rate and a little expo and it flies like the linkages are on the inner holes of the servo arms.
Makes the Pro much better, and with a couple of other small mod's a lot of fun.

Hey Dennis, I believe I put in 75% for low rates and expo is 15% I think is what I got, And High rates is 100% and no expo.

I'm using -6 in low rate (expo)switch 'on' - and -3 in high expo (switch off) - but no dual rate, as it cuts the overall throws, and I only want to soften them up.
The advantage of Expo (my opinion) is the center feels softer, but if you need full throw, it's there for you - with dual rates it won't be.

First - the expo - I had flown a lot of time on Nitro Helis learning years ago, and quit, but back now with the electic craze starting with a CPPRO for fun. So, I could hover and do fwd flight o.k, the expo settings I show might be too sensitive for you, so go carefully. If you feel out of control, adjust from there.
What I did was set the expo at -12 and -16 (switch off and on) and then tried both, then tuned them down to -8 and -12 (off and on respectfully) - and so on. This way when you test, you can flip the switch and get a quick feel of the direction you need to go.
If you go with dual rates - which cut the overall throw of the servo, and add expo on top, you will get a very soft feel, but your max. travel will be limited. I feel like more expo and no dual rate gives the same feel, but when you lay on the sticks in an emergency, you have max servo travel to right the heli. Back in the day, you had duals, or expo, but not both on the same switch mixed, so this is a new deal for me, so this is how I have decided would be best for myself.
The 43/100 deal is a travel setting that works with the 3 and 1 - so 43 gives you no throttle and 100 gives you full throttle - at least this is the way I understand it. This is totally different than the throttle curve - which would be 0 -25 -50 - 75 -100 in the 7C transmitter.
I copied the 43/100 deal from the 9C thread, and don't know why it is that way, but it worked in the 7C.
I haven't found a dedicated 7C thread anywhere yet.

Thanks for the throttle end point explanation. I get that its different from the throttle curve. You know, the stock setup with the included trans feels a bit soft to me, but I like lots of throw. I assume the recommended 9C settings for the swash plate (ail Elev) are pretty tame. Is that correct?

The 9C settings gave max travel on the swash on my PRO - meaning the servos were buzzing (locked up) at anything past those throws.
If you want a more sensitive than stock setup - change the expo to + values - which makes the travel more sensitive around center stick, and / or move the flybar weights in or remove them all together.
