Default Moving a servo hole

I am just trying to figure out how I get the push rod out of the servo hole. Do I unscrew the white arm of the servo?
Or do I have to remove the servo altogether. I am working on a CX2.
THanks!

Easy as pie, remove the servo horn, drill out the hole your moving to then install the linkage and throw the servo horn back on.
One quick tip however. Before taking the servo horn off ensure you are at 90 degrees, then when you reinstall the servo horn same thing 90 degrees and all will be well.

Yeup! That's how alot of us have ours set up now.
Little touchy on the tx the first few times you fly it however you will really like how responsive it is.

Yes to all the above,

You are changing the distances of the pushrods to the swash, and You'll find that You will have adjust them. Keep the front canopy off and adjust the aileron until it stops running to one side; then adjust the elevator one until You have to trim most of the way forward with the trim. Then with the canopy on, You will slide the trim back to compensate for the off C.G. of the canopy; hopefully somewhere back to center.

okay, moved forward/backward servo hole one forward. It was the last hole. I left the arilion alone. Did a quick test to make sure everything works and got 20 minutes on 2 batteries now. I will let you know what I think. These things are so incredibly easy to work on. A lot easier than my old rc cars. THis was the first time I took it apart. Did not mess with rods, but I know how to get to them now.
thanx, it is great when you have online support.

I would just add that with the linkage moved out a hole or two you've increased the chances of blade strikes/clack.
I would seriously consider a flybar mod to counter that.

I have moved my elevator linkage out two holes and still do not get blade strikes.
I think this is mainly due to my shorter flybar.
