Reassembling Flybar: Paddle Accuracy
Hey All,
I need to replace my flybar's seesaw holder and as a result, I need to remove the flybar's paddle nut/weight.
I'm wondering how accurate do i need to be when reassembling the paddle weight, as it can slide along the flybar somewhat and doesn't have absolute fixed position.
I was thinking I could slide the weight so that the end of the weight is even with the end of the flybar, but that is not the stock position.
If I do it that way, my paddles will be spread further out about a 1/4 of an inch on each side and the flybar thread will not be threaded into the the paddles thread. It will only be held on by the grub screw... probably not a great idea, but it will remove any measurement errors.
What do you guys think. I want to do this right.

RE: Reassembling Flybar: Paddle Accuracy
The weights can be placed at various lengths down the flybar, the closer they are to the end the easier the cx will fly, once however you get the hang of it you can reduce the weight of them and or shorten flybar to give the cx more manoverability. The only golden rule is keep the weights equal in mass and exactly the same distance down the flybar as each other. Calipers or a simple tape measure can be used.
