Installing the Himax 210 Pro is next on my Prolog Build. Any suggestions on the thrust incidences? Going to use a 20x12 or 20x13 to start with. Not all that much guidance in the original Prolog guide. I am thinking of something like 1.5 right and .5 up thrust. Looks like I got the last original color one in stock. Yeah team Pink

Randy,
Simply line up the back plate of the spinner to the factory built in thrust in the fuse. You will be very close if not right on for the Prolog.

Randy, my thrust line is exactly as Larry stated, the spinner is parallel to the nose ring on the fuselage. So far I have 20 flights on the Prolog and I think the thrust angle is good.

I am also using a Himax 210Pro, I bought the shaft conversion from Mike. This allows you to mount the motor to a nose ring and have a rear bearing support. To date I have tried a 20.5 x 14 and 21 x 13 APC. I prefer the 21 x 13. The motor is making slightly in excess of 3,000 watts. This is as per the Castle Creations log. I have now set a curve on my DX9 so that at full stick I only get 2500 watts. This makes the plane much smoother for me to fly.

I also have some XOAR 21 x13, but unfortunately the propeller hubs are too deep for the shaft length.....

I would also be interested to hear what difference the fence / fences make. I have been considering installing them,
Thanks Nick Marson
