Default Elevon issue.....

Hi,

I have a RICCS RTF Mirage 2000. While putting it together I noticed upward Elevon travel differs on each wing (left up elevon travel is greater than right up elevon travel). Can you please tell me how to correct this issue and balance out the travel. Note: elevons are in balance at neutral stick and both horn/clevis adjustments are identical.

Thanks,
Ken

Is down travel the same for both? If so, you may have to move the right elevon servo arm one tooth on the shaft and re-center your TX trims. If the servo is not centered properly, you'll reach the end of its travel limit. Sounds like the right elevon servo is not centered properly.

It should be that 1 of the 2 horns is not centered over the hinge centerline. No big deal. You may not even notice that difference in flyin it.

If it seems to be more than about 1/8" at full up or down. You may need to get the horns on the centerline or make both equally off centerline.
