Default 12FG Question

I am setting up an airplane with forward retracting nose gear. I need to disable the steering when the gear is retracted because the steering cables are still tight.
I have steering on Aux 3 mixed to rudder. In the program mix setup screen, I assigned the retract switch to turn the mix off when the retract switch is in the up position.
The servo still moves with the stick. What am I missing?

Hmmm.... Is anything else also assigned to Aux3? If so reassign those to another control or make them null. Also, is the assigned control for Aux3 set to null? ?

Nothing else assigned to aux3 as far as I know. Not sure what you mean about control set to null.

On the channel you assigned Aux3 do you have a control assigned? Like for ailerons you assign J1, etc.?

There should be no control assigned to Aux3 in the function menu since you are controlling the servo assigned to the channel/function using a P.Mix

Thanks, Bill. I had J4 assigned to Aux 3 in the Function menu. Changed switch and trim to null in that menu and then went back to program mix and changed Rate a and b to 100%

Now it turns off when the gear switch is up.
Thanks again!!!!

Figured that might have been the case. Glad you got it working.
