My current setup on 9CH Tx:
Mode Glider 1
Flaperon On (2nd servo on channel 6)
Trim Mix On
Start OFS On (I use this when in lift)
Speed OFS On (I use this when escaping sink)
Butterfly On (modulated by throttle stick) (Switch C - Up)
Elev-Flap On (switch C - down)
Programming launch preset:
I want to program a preset on switch F for launching a DLG glider. I use PMix 1 ofst to raise the elevator. I wanted to use PMix 2 ofst to reflex (raise) the Flaps. But I tried both FLP1 and FLP2, and the Flaps did not move on activation (the PMix 1 elevator is operating as expected).
What am I missing ?
Programming Butterfly:
How can I use PMix 6 or 7 to give me the following:
Throttle stick in full throttle position: Flap up
Throttle stick at 15% throttle: Full flap down
Throttle stick at throttle cut off position: Flap up -> this is to protect the flap servos on landing
Thanks for your support.

Krysta,
Any progress on this ? Not being able to reflex the flaperons on launch with a programmed preset switch is driving me nuts because I have to use the Speed Ofst switch to do that plus the preset switch for elevator up. The launch stage in DLG is crucial and having to operate 2 switches during that very short period make me loose altitude. Help pleasssse.

Hi Mousson,
Sorry it has taken me so long, I have had this on my desk for a few days playing with it.
Forgive me if I have this wrong, but here is what I came up with. Try this out, if it doesn't work out for you, please please let me know.
I did three offset mixes first.
The first one:
Offset-Master
Elev-Slave
Link off
Switch F, down
rate-15%
The second one:
Offset-Master
Ail-Slave
Link off
Switch F, down
rate-100%
The third one
Offset-Master
Aux1-(or your second flap) slave
Link off
Switch F, down
rate-100%
Then I did two separate Linear mixes:
The first:
ARBK-Master
Aux1-Slave
Link off
Switch is STK-ARB
position Null
Posi-1 +100
Posi-2 -100
Posi-3 0
Posi-4 0
Posi-5 +100
Then I did the same linear mix again, but this time I made the slave Aileron.
I did this mix in Glider 2, you may have to adjust your percentages of course, but this give me up elevator and flaps with my F switch and when I move my throttle stick full down I get up flaps, slightly above full down throttle I get full down flaps and at full up throttle I get full up flaps again.
Let me know if this works for you.

Many thanks Krysta,
I use Glider 1 and not Glider 2 because my plane uses flaperons while Glider 2 is for 4 servos wing, without the flaperon mix. I have a 6 channel receiver: right flaperon on ch.1 and left flaperon on ch.6.
Your mix 1: elevator preset working as expected
Your mix 2: right flaperon preset working as expected
Your mix 3: in Glider 1, I do not have FLAP. This is my problem. I tried, Flp1, Flp2, Aux1, Aux2. No reaction from the left flaperon !
Same thing with the 2 linear mixes: the left flaperon is working as expected on Pmix 6, but noway to make the right flaperon with Pmix 7.
I try another combination with Acro. In this case, I have access to the function FLAP in Pmixes and am able to activate BOTH flaperons in an ofset mix. Same thing with airbrake: by using Pmix 5, Master Throtle, Slave Flap, I am able to move the airbrake the way I want. BUT, in this mode, I lost the Start Ofs and Run Ofs which I want to use for controlling the glider.
My question: is there a bug in the Glider 2 mode ? how can I move the Right flaperon with an Ofset Pmix ? (the flaperons are working fine as ailerons).
Thanks for your support

Hi Mousson,
While there was a glitch in a few of the very first 9C's it only affected Butterfly in Glider mode.
I switched my radio over to Glider 1 and then set it up the same was as before but in the third mix I set master as Offset and slave as FLP2. Then in the first linear mix I set the master as Offset and the slave as FLP2 again.
You may want to try a complete reset or go into a blank model.
Thanks, Krysta

Many thanks Krysta, with your latest instructions, I'm making important progress. Now I know that FLP2 is the Function assigned to Channel 6. I am able to move the Left Aileron now, both on the Preset, and on the Throttle Stick.
On last thing: with Butterfly On (Switch A down), while lowering the Flaperons, the elevator moves down to compensate for pitch up. This is what I want to use. But the Pmix 6 and 7 to move the Flaperons all the way up with throtle off do not work. They only work with Butterfly Off, Switch A up. How can I link the 2 functions, i.e.:
1- Butterfly off, Switch A up : no effect on Flaperons when moving the throtle stick
2- Butterfly on, Switch A down: Flaperons droping when lowering the throtle stick, and move up completely with the throtle stick in the full down position. Elevator are coupled to the flaperons for pitch compensation.
Thanks for your prompt and effective support.
