Help with hovering throttle mix

I currently own a 9C transmitter and fly 3D. I am working on my low hovering and need help in setting up a throttle mix(curve). The goal is to have a relatively flat spot on the curve in the hovering band. I have review my 9c manual ,but I am lost on just where to start.

Not sure, the one 5 point I saw was meant to link the throttle to another channel. I have some free mixes, but never a 5 point mix so it is all new to me.

You must use a Point mixer and expereiment to find where place these throttle points on the throttle curve. For instance, if your plane hovers at 1/2 throttle you would want the throttle curve nearly flat around mid-stick. You would then pick the points to make that happen.

We did some further checking after reading some more posts here.
Use pmix #6 or #7. They allow curves. Turn the mixer on, master is throttle and slave is throttle, link is off, and set the switch position to Null if you want this to operate all the time. Otherwise select the swithc and position you want.
Now go to the page with the curve and set the points where you want them to get the throttle action you need.

Thank you.
