Antique,
I was fortunate enough to meet Jim Cline some years back when he was selling his business. What a brilliant man! He did develop the PCFS System from the Walbro System. He had a very expensive mold made and figured out where to source all the springs and fittings to make it work. I sat in his workshop and made a PCFS System with him.
I ran several on my glow engines on his system and they were amazing!
So sad that he passed. The amount of engine knowledge he had will never be equaled! And he was as nice as they come. Very humble.

And I have heard it said, that felt filter fibers break off and clog up the screen in the Carb. Has anyone of you had to remove felt filter fibers from the Carb screen ? You need to be real careful when you come here, a lot of the (expert) opinions expressed here, just amount to a bunch of fabricated ''Wives Tales''.
I have used felt filter clunks for years, and check all my 6 screens yearly, and guess what; no felt fibers. [>:]

I recently began using the ceranic style because I read it prevents air from passing and minimizes air intrainment, don't know if it is true or not but i ran a tank out on the ground and mixture remained constant until the end. Before that I never used a filter anywhere, just keep the gas can closed while not in use.The fuel filter in the car passes thousands of gallons without plugging, maybe I'm just lucky. Been a weekend gas flyer since 1989.
