Well, it looks like it will be the new engine and new muffler... how much more does it weight compared to the ZDZ50?
it would be nice to move the batteries back from the engine box

Juanes,

The MVVS/EVO exhaust flange is very different from that of the ZDZ 50.

The bolt spacing is 40 mm for the ZDZ and 46 mm for the MVVS.
The ZDZ NG has an irregularly shaped port and will not fit either.

The MVVS 58 cc engine weighs 1,820 grams and the ignition is 165 grams.

I don't have the exact weight for the exhaust system.

Thanks,
The prosport has a slight power advantage due to reshaped porting and blueprinting. The weight disadvantage of the sturdier construction is corrected by using titanium parts.

If you fly a lot on daily basis, I would definately choose the prosport.

Juanes,

there was about a 10 oz difference between the evo and the zdz. I moved the batts and regs (fromecos) off the engine box and put them behind the pipe tunnel, and then moved the tank in to the pipe tunnel (got sick of sliding the tank around to get to the front wing bolts) and it balanced out perfectly.

The fuel inlet nipple needs to be rotated on mine. I tried to do it, but it's really stiff. Has anyone been able to move theirs? I don't want to break it off, but if I don't move it, it will interfere with my throttle pushrod. Anyone have any suggestions?

I held my breath and used a pair of pliers. Its a push fit so it will rotate, had to do the same for the same reason.

Well, maybe i'll do that on the next one. This one I remembered that I had a bunch of 4-40 nuts and just used them to extend out the arm. I then took a piece of glow fuel line and put it over the exposed part of the rod. This way it won't do any damage when and if it rubs against the fuel line. I just didn't want to risk having to buy a new carb for a new engine...you know?
