As for the first page of this thread, it will get fixed. They are going from newest to oldest in the process of restoring the site of the site.
I do agree the site was a real PITA a few days ago. But things are coming together slowly. And for many things, like thread Subscriptions, I have found there are many ways to get to the same point. It's just a lot of doors are not open yet.

strange but soon as i posted i got an email about george's post which said i would not recieve any more until i visit the forum again it seems they must be sorting out active users
Sorry to hear of the painful site upgrade. I would think that a community of this size would get it all together but perhaps it will take some time.
I've been swamped with work the last few weeks and longing to make progress on my Pica Waco build. Hopefully I will start getting email alerts of new posts soon and the bugs will get sorted so we can get back to posting some quality content with tips and build updates.

I'm new to big engines. Biggest until now has been G-62. Photo shows 150 engine I'm putting on Barth 1/3 YMF. Fuel line supplied with engine is huge (pink in color). Does it need to be that big?Where do I find tank fittings? Also in photo is the normal size I'm used to (yellow). Thanks,

Mike,
From what I have seen there are 3 sizes of the tygon tubing used on R/C engines. The smaller size is what I use on my 30-50cc engines and on the 157cc I have the medium size, this is what fits the fittings on the carb the best. I would just match the tubing up to the fittings you have.
Later!!

Thanks for comments. I'll find the right size brass. I'm working the engine installation now. Per my photo above in fuel line post, the engine package is nice and compact. I'm using standoffs from firewall. On the top side, one standoff has interference with throttle linkage; the other with fuel inlet. So I need to move the standoffs. One would think the engine designers would anticipate that, and make adjustments. It kinda reminds me of full time job I had for years where engine div. handed us the product for installation in vehicle. It was take it or leave it. "We have it optimized. If it won't fit, you figure it out" was their typical comment.

Bill, I don't know if the site is working for you yet but there is a gentleman asking for membership to the brotherhood. I can't get to the last page of the thread anymore. No email notifications either, seems that everthing is backwards. I hit page one, I get to here. I hit last page, end up on page 16 of this thread. They really know how to screw up a good thing, any help would be appreciated. My next move is to smash something. Very pissed at this point.

When i stop receiving email about a thread i go to that thread, then thread tools and unsubscribe then click on subscribe again.
Even before the change i had to do that or the system seemed to forget to send my messages.

Barth 1/3 YMF engine installlation in process.
Here's standoff design for mounting Evolution 150. The lower two come right off the engine lugs. I put in two vertical aluminum angles and a cross piece angle on top. The upper engine lugs are bolted to vertical angles. Above that the upper standoffs are bolted through the vertical angles and cross piece. This raises them up to clear throttle linkage and fuel inlet. Not as stiff on top since it isn't bolted directly to engine lugs, but it should work. Hate to do stuff like this.
