WACO YMF
I'd like to add my .02 on these shirts, if I may. It seems to me that the first run, the tan ones, were more comfortable to wear than the maroon ones. Maybe there was some difference in the way they were made. Anybody know what the difference between the two runs was? I missed out on the blue ones, so I can't comment on those.
BTW...nice looking Skybolt!

You will need to let me see any proposed artwork prior to setting up a run. Not trying to be controlling, but that's just the way it is.

Yes Rick, the maroon and blue shirt runs were screen printed and the first (tan) were computer printed....a softer feel. The shirt quality was the same however.
Steve, wouldn't be a copyright infringement I shouldn't think since the artwork was never registered nor for sale...only private useage. Colorwise I'd like to see a grey with navy blue or red graphics. Whatever color is decided upon though I want one that wouldn't get oil spots on them!!! Never take them to the field????Bill???? Mitch

Just a little feedback from the peanut gallery regarding shirts. I have the blue one, and seems the logo is not as prominent against the blue as to what I have seen with the other two colours. Also, the blue started to get purple spots after the first washing and progressively got worse. Not sure if it is the material, or my water, or a combination of the two causing that deterioration. I still wear it to the field and get many compliments on the logo........just need to complete my plane to match the shirt!!! May go through many shirts before that happens.
Looking forward to the next run of T's

Not getting any notices of activity on the thread, don't know why I visit at least once a week. Any way I will definitely join the order for new shirts if it can be done.Almost ready to maiden a Gruman Duck.

No its just a 58 inch wingspan. just waiting for new flight battery to complete balancing, and a break from the 20 mph cros wind. Hate to maiden in a heavy crosswind, nervous enough on a calm day.

I have some of all 3 colors. No problems with any of them. The original. #1 shirts are still my favorites. The logos almost looked, "Ghosted". The logo design was made for this color shirt and the shadow lines were correct. Not so with subsequent runs. This new run needs to be near perfect. Let's have some input.

I'm with you there dan. I think they looked the best. As for the design, like I told bill, if we're going to redesign the logo, I think I'm going to need some help with that. In not very artistic nor would I even know where to begin. If we're going to take the existing logos and just put them onto the shirts, well I ( or the screen printer) can handle that. I would just have to have one to give to him. It will be a bit more to have him get it in to his system, but shouldn't be too much.

Relax. I know where the original artwork is. I should have the CD in hand shortly. Talked with Jay (damnifiknow) tonight. His computer guru still has the graphics in disk format. They are sending the original to me. I will copy the program and send the copy to whomever will be doing that run of shirts. I will want the disk returned so it can be protected. The original will go to our Historian, John.

We originally thought that each generation of shirt would have a unique color so that when one was seen at an event it would be easier to know the approximate seniority of the wearer. Since we have gone through 3 generations of shirt. I think it only fair to allow the majority to decide the color. I'm going to lean on Dan Hudson to run that. Send him private messages so we don't clutter up the thread. Sorry to do it to you Dan, but you are good at that sort of thing. ( the ability to delegate is a mark of a good manager ).

I'm in for two XL's. Me, I think the Waco should be a solid color with no shadow effects. I like the overall design, but the 'shadows' just make it look like a weird birthmark or a busted printer or something. Plus, the heavy screen printed patch on the back always makes for a big sweat patch. I don't want to be critical, just sharing my thoughts. I'll take whatever you guys decide on. As for color- I don't care. I just want to look good at the field!
I organize an annual flying event and T-shirts are always appreciated. I've had mine digitally printed and they turn out great, but they pretty much need a white, grey, or tan background to come through. My cost for a small run (50 white shirts) with 5 colors was $13 each.
