VJ,
I am with Robert on this one, I sent e-mails the last time around. I am done e-mailing RCU. I will bail after my Waco is complete. We will all just have to meet up somewhere else.
Later!!

Don't blame you one bit Robert and Anthony. I'm about there myself...
Well I can't show you but I can describe what I have done. All of the aluminum horns have been glass beaded and epoxied in place. I made sort of a lite ply sandwich with the aluminum horn in between them. Very stout and light. All that is left after the epoxy cures is to give the flaps and ailerons a final sanding and then it's time to cover them. All of the building has been completed with the exception of the IP, windscreen and padded headrest.
On another note I am happy to report that today in the mail I received my Sig Moressey Bravo kit. It's in great shape, except for the box. I now have two kits that will be going on the build board!

I have eye'd that Bravo kit before too, but never made the plunge. Its a nice looker though, only one note, if you start a build thread (where ever it is), please come back and make a post here so those of us lucky enough to bear witness to this thread have a chance to subscribe to the new one! Its been a pleasure viewing this one......
Thanks,
Dave

But what suck's about the other sites is there is not enough traffic to keep a conversation going. But, of course, if everyone I know was to happen to start partaking of RCSB, hmmmmmmmm.

Ah Robert! You quitter! <div>
</div><div>HA, I think I'll be right behind you. I've already been posting my Cub build on RCG, it's been good to me and it is free. The other thing about RCG is it's not just scale and it would be one location for everybody. For instance Anthony's AMR High Wing Stick 30 build, not scale in the least (not of a "real" plane anyway) but it fits on RCU. Just my 2 cents.</div><div>
</div><div>However, in defense of RCSB, since it is a paid website, there my be better service, don't know, never used it.</div>

What I don't like is there is one site that requires you to pay to be able to post and they have as many ads as RCU. They can keep their site as far as I'm concerned. Yeah RCU has had some problems of late but it is free to post and buy/sell and it has the largest following. I'm sure they are getting flak from the advertisers so they should get their problems fixed. I'm in IT so I know what is required to find and fix a software glitch and it isn't easy. Even big companies like Apple, IBM, Microsoft, etc. have know bugs they are chasing some have survived as many as 5 new version of their software. Take a BIG set of encyclopedias and pretend there is one small mistake in one sentence in the whole set, now go find it! That's programing and debugging software won't find it for you. Programing is like medicine you practice it you NEVER perfect it!

You know, that brings up a good point. If one wanted to build a 50-100cc Extra, there are no kits. All of the Extra kits like Dalton, Carden, AMR are all 43% sized.

I mispoke about FG, though. My go to site is RCG.

RCG is a good site but not much interaction and very few visitors. RCSB is the ideal site for the builder, with enough traffic for conversation but limited in rhetoric by way of having to pay. Like mentioned above RCSB is $20 a year which is nothing, you builders know what I mean. Shoot I throw more than that away each build in unwanted balsa. Either way RCU is and has been going downhill ever since the ownership change and I'm not willing to wait for the commercial to be over. I'm changing channels.

Hey Cliff, my next build is a 1/4 Spacewalker. Can I get a link for the thread you're watching?

It's mainly an ARF 3D site. There is little participation in the scale forums.

One flap and one aileron got covered this evening. They turned out real nice. Tomorrow I'll stitch and tape them. I may get some paint on the wing Saturday Too tired to do anything else calling it a night...
