Barron, I think campaign signs are made from that stuff. Just wait till the next election, find the candidate you don't like, and help yourself!!!

Well Barron, it's 28 and no wind here. The only trouble is, as usual, it's snowing a little bit. The sky is pretty low.

How are you getting away to fly? I had to go shopping with my wife. I did manage to search for some pilots for my WWII birds, but didn't find any.

Barron, Bill, Elad, Sincraft, Snoop, Gary, and all, Have a very nice Christmas holiday!!!

Same tou you, Barron.

Bill might be interested to know that I just came in from blowing a coiple of inches of snow from my driveway. Four inches predicted by afternoon. 14mph winds with a wind chill of 20, so it's not too bad.

Barron, Most of my stuff is sport scale. The only "scale" airplane is the Stinson. I just like my planes to look "real" when I fly them. Sometimes I find a grin on my face when I pull off a scale takeoff or grease in a landing. The first time I flew the Stinson, I forgot what I was doing. I just went braindead as I was just standin there, watching it fly. The guy standing next to me had to bring me back to reality. It was just so cool, listening to the Saito 300 putt putting and watching that big bird slowly fly by. It was never in any danger. I was just lost in the wonder of it all.

Here's a few more pics of it. If you want to see more, go to rcscalebuilder.com Look in the main gallery. There's 7 or 8 pics in there.

Ya not every one has the money or time to make a complete scale plane.
Someone at my club built the Stinson Model O. It was beautiful.

Barron, I went down to Don's today. As usual, all the trouble I was having was nothing major.

I couldn't get the angle of my retracts right, Don looked at it and figured out the gear legs were transposed. Took each leg off and put it on the other and it was fixed!!!. Took five minutes.

Then he helped hinge and fit my flaps. I didn't see how the Robart door hinges would fit into the wing, but Don got 'em in there. Pics are in rcscalebuilder, Other Kits, Holman D9. I'd post them here, but they are in Don's computer and he hasn't sent them to me yet.

I'm SOOO happy to be moving along on the Focke Wulf again!!! This is one of my favorite airplanes and I haven't had one in 4 or 5 years. Really looking forward to it.

I didn't get any airplane stuff for Christmas, but I did get money. Been looking at the Pica 1/6 WACO bipe. I NEED a bipe and it would be a change from the warbirds, especially German warbirds, that I've been building for the last few years.

Now you have to get building your German warbird. It'd be cool if we could get together and fly our German WWI fighters together!!! We could go Spad hunting!!!

Barron, I have a Me 109 G6, a Focke Wulf 190 D9, a soon to be built JU 87B anf a Fokker DVIII. I feel like I need a change of pace.

Besides warbirds, I love the classic planes of the 30's. I've neglected this area for around four years. Besides I NEED a bipe!!! Having said this, I still haven't ordered it.

Ok stay within the time frame of the two wars. The Taube is Pre-WWI to Early-WWI.
Get that Junker built.
The WACO is fine or a Stearman.

Still lookin for coroplast.

A few years ago, a guy in my club decided he didn't like his OS 91 4 stroke. I asked what he wanted for it. He said, "Nothing", and gave it to me. I figure the WACO would be a good place to put it. If, for some reason, it doesn't run well, I still have a good one to put in it.

I like Stearmans, too. Don just sold a Sterling Stearman. I wish I would've known he was going to sell it. I would've bought it.

The WACO will be just fine. I like it's looks and if it flies like the Pica 1/5 scale, it'll be a good flier.

Don and all:

e have to keep some rc oin it.

Santa disappointed me, but I knew in November that he would. And now the production date for my new rtadials has been put back to April or May of next year. Another delay I'll say forget it and buy a pair of Saito radials. BUT I WANT SEVEN CYLINDER ENGINES!!!

Bill.
