I am finishing up a Force One, the Enforceres little brother. My kit went together very well, and was fun to build. The fuselage construction was old fashioned, but it turned out well. Only took me two weeks from start to covered. Will get my radio installed tomorrow. Hopefully fly on Friday. If the Enforcer kit is like mine, you will have fun building it. I have seen Enforcers fly before, and they are great flying planes. HTH

Had one some years ago. I lengthened the nose 4 in. and installed retracts in mine. One cool thing it did was FULL throttle landing approaches. Fly it in full bore and because of the pusher and 3/8 inch up on both elevons, when you chop the engine, it will mediately stand on its tail and almost stop, then just add a little power. The nose comes down and she greases in, all in about ten feet ,after going about 90 mph. Watch the spins though, it may not recover. My brother crashed one that way. You will love this plane. Had a .91 4-stroke in mine.

Any issues with gas tank line feed being so long from front of tank back to engine?
engine sucks fuel ok? Also what kind of muffler since the engine is on backwards

This may be a little late, since your post was almost 2 months ago. But I just flew my enforcer today for the first time and it was awsome. From the table to the flight was easy. The wing builds flat upside down. The fuse construction is no problem. The hardist thing to do was to bend the sheeting over the fuse. The plans call for the alerons and the elevator to be connected with nylon push rods to the center of the wing front. I opted not to do this. I put servo's in the wing closer to the ale. & elev. for better control. ( I've never liked nyrods) On to the flight. On take off, the ground control is very good. But without rudder, on windy days it might be a handfull. Once off the ground it went straight up. I had it turn sharp then the heat was on. The thing acted like someone kicked it in the butt. It started hauling ass. Turns were very sharp, rolls was even better. The only thing that spooked me was, when I backed off the throttle. The thing shot straight up about 12 foot or so. That was freaky. As I came in for a landing the nose lifted up, the plane slowed to a crawl and it sat down like a dream. Landing slower than a walk. This is the best plane I've flown in a long while. Need I mention, all the other fliers wanting to see it fly ( big time attention getter ).

Just watch out though, I had a Force 1 years ago but had a deadstick first flight. Well like most delta's without power they tend to glide like a brick. Would of made it with a flat thud but the newly built fence (finished earlier in the day) struck it's first victim. Sure looked neat and would love to build another.

Constrictor, Thanks for the thread. Got me thinking about an airplane that i had a ball with years ago until it died before its time in an inverted flat spin that it wouldn't recover from. The retracks i had installed changed its geometry. Before the gear change, it would do a full power ,inverted, flat spin that it would hover or slightly rise in and easily roll out of. With the lengthened nose, i found out this was not a good attitude for it. Anyway, i ordered another Enforcer and am in the process of building it now. Had the fuse. framed up and skinned in one evening. After a week of " spare" time, the wing is about 2/3 done. I do use nyrod type push rod for this wing, but i get the carbon fiber core not the nylon and fill the bays that they run through as well as the leading edge bays with non-expanding foam after the bottom sheeting is in place and before the top is sheeted. Just let it harden, trim off the excess (I use a hack saw blade), block sand, and sheet as normal. No flex in your push rods and adds a lot of strength with very little weight. I have an OS91 2 stroke I think I'll put in this one, so i added some tri stock around the gear mounts for the additional weight. Can't wait for spring in Ohio. Thanks again!
