Ok just got off the phone with Kathy @ TNT Landing Gear and the 1/8" thick is $61 &
the 3/16" thick would be $81 plus shipping.

Hi
Received the short kit and purchased the wood that I need, has anyone figured out how you are going to do the CABANES. Does anyone know of anyone that has a kit that can make patterns, I have a friend that can make them up.

Ron if you look at the fuselage plan, just above the cowl is a head on view of what the cabane strut should look like, measuring on the side view of the fuselage will give you the height, I will draw a 3-view of this during the week and scan and post it. I will be more than glad to e-mail this to you once I have it done. My plan was to make a jig to silver solder the joints, or having them mig or tig welded by my neighborhood welding shop.

Spoke with BUSA at the Toledo show and received an email yesterday that they have no parts or data on the Cabanes. Going to talk with one of our mechanical designers at work to see about making up some drawings. Will know more nexk week

Thanks for the update on the cabanes Ron. I just got my short kit from lazar works. Now I just need to get a DLE 55 and retire so I can do what "I" want.....
One last personal note, I'm having a real hard time getting my mind around the cost of the landing gear from TNT. Seems a bit excessive for bent T-6.....

Sorry about the delay on the cabanes drawing, work & death
in family had been playing havoc, enough that I have had to
put the build on the back burner for a few months.
