Looks Great! I'm still stuck here in Afghanistan, ordering parts for this build. I did get the landing gear from TNT and a G-62 with a pitts.
Do you have the drawing or measurement for the Cabain struts? I don't have my plans here with me, and I forgot what size wheel and spinner the plans call for.
Just more stuff I can order for this while I'm here.

john

they are 5" wheels. it calls for a 5" spinner but used a 4" the 5 looked to big to me, I made the cabanes from the plans . I need a lot of tail wt. with a fuji 50ie up front , g-62 is heavier be carefull .

Thanks for the wheel and spinner sizes, gives me a chance to order a couple more things. I got a pretty good deal on the G-62, but I also picked up a NIB BME 50. I may use that instead of the Zenoah if weight up front is an issue.
Any other pics from your build during construction stage?

The BME has Electronic ignition and a pitts came with it.
I don't have the plans here with me, so I cant see how it will all lay out. But I still have plenty of time to order all the extra stuff I'll need.
Speaking of stuff I'll need.... This will be my first build of a plane this size. What size servos are you using in your build? What torque on the elevator, rudder and ailerons?

That’s quite a bit of torque.... Do you think something around the 74-80 oz would work, or am I just looking for trouble on the elevator? Not arguing, just asking.

Looks like I'll be getting new servos too...!

I would not go below 90 on the elev , just my 2cts , the 645's are 107 on 4.8 volts

Thanks for the insight on the Hitec servos Charlie.
Question about the area aft of the Turtle Deck, between the vertical and horizontal. Did you fiberglass this fairing, or is this just fabric?
