HTML code in classified descriptions
Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden I'm seeing all what appears to be code mixed in with the descriptions in the classified listings? I haven't changed any settings to my knowledge.
Thanks

RC Pete, sorry your having the same problem, but then I'm happy to hear that it may not be on my end. Was afraid my puter started doing it's own thing. Hope they can figure this out as it's very distracting.

Our developers are looking into the problem. It only appears to happen when the Full Editor is used to create a ad description. If you select Basic Editor when building or editing your ad, the problem does not occur.
We will have this cleared up as quickly as possible.

RE: HTML code in classified descriptions
I didn't change editors at any time when listing. I used the "Renew" button to renew some of my old ads. Maybe the "renew" button uses the other editor. Most ads I look at, other than my own, are all screwed up too.
After seeing this mess, I did change to the basic editor to see if the pages would look any different, which they didn't, and then changed back.

The Full Editor is the default selection. You do not have to change anything in order for this issue to occur in your ads.
If you change the editor to the Basic version, you can clean up your ad and avoid the problem until we can get the tools fixed. You must however manually remove all of the tags when you are in the Basic version in order for this to work.
