Getting ready to throw these in the oven at 265 degrees for 10 mins per side. 20 mins total
That CA glue will come right off.![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

These tires are going on my Jconcepts Rulux rims marker Blue Golfland set for my B44.

Get a couple of them so you got spares... I guess you don't really hit them if you just drive on a big open space.. but if you ever drive on the track, you'd hit the shell all the time.. hee hee!!

Idle musings (while waiting on some test data to load at work):
1) I think I like the GReddy 350Z better than the Nismo one. For now.
2) I think I like the Murcielago Lambo body better than the Gallardo one. But it's almost a toss up.
3) I still really like the Lotus body. Perhaps more than the others.
4) All in all, who knows if I'll even get another body for the TA05-R? But it sure is fun thinking about it.

I don't think it is worth the effort to take those tires off the rims, but you can try to see how it turns out!!

Perfect fit. WOW!! It was worth it 4-sure, they fit much better than proline tires do.
I like proline but man you cannot get any better fit than this without glue.[8D]
Those DF-03 tires are the best tires I ever owned mine are still usuable and the car I've had since oct 2006

Good to see you checking in Wubby. I've seen you lurking about, figured you had just focused on some other things. Bikes look real nice.

In other news, I found out why I got such a 'Deal' on that Brand New XXX-BK2 (it wasn't a CR, but no biggie)
The guy assembling the kit had inadvertently locktited both of the REAR CVD's -- They wouldn't move at all... lol, no wonder the thing never got run!
I pulled apart the Transmission first, the gears are brand new... Never had a motor to them, everything ran smooth. Next I checked the CVD's, to track down the binding.
Sure enough, a bunch of locktite poured in both CVD's was the culprit. Careful disassembly, Removed the dry locktite, re-assembled... Turns like a dream.
Hilarious. AHHH EBAY PURCHASES.

LOL... I wish I run into that kind of stuff more often..
I guess on the owner's manual, the drawing for threadlock and grease bottles look the same....
![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But seriously, though.. it really doesn't take a lot of mechanical intuition to think that threadlock shouldn't be used there, no?! LOL!

Hee hee.. just showing my love for Tamiya...![Big Grin](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I think you obviously need to go w/ the one you like.. but I will tell you that Tamiya shells are usually done in a way that's a bit more scale.. i.e., they actually go measure the real car and then, use the dimension, to create the mold, etc.
Compare to most other shell companies, where they product a shell that has a shape that's similar to the real car, but in reality, the ratio are off slightly.. (i.e., car that's too low, door too long, wings too big, etc, etc.)
Not important, but just want to point it out.. that's all..
You should see what they do when they create those tanks! They send a team to some museum and literaly measure all the pieces just so they can create all the small features on the shell, etc. It is pretty crazy...

i love this video. and the ATV one isn't that surprising, people do all sorts of fun projects with Subarus. i've seen airboats, airplanes, boats, hovercraft, and all manner of land vehicles.

yeah i found this out when i tried to paint the lexan shell for the Brat. not that i've looked at a lot of bodies, but i haven't seen anything at the LHS with as much detail. a lot of the bodies i've seen just have a smooth front and rear where you apply the appropriate stickers, but the Brat body has molded in head lights and tail lights. it's also an angular 80s body, lots of cut lines and hard edges. it was just totally beyond my skill level, so that's why i gave up trying to mask it properly and just spray canned the entire thing black.
maybe someone else with a Brat can disagree or back me up on this, but either way i had a heck of a time with it.

Man, I was having a noise and had to teardown the t rex 500 tonight, looks like there is some play where there shouldn't be. Oh well guess I will be waiting on a part until I get it up in the air again [:@]. Shame because this is my favorite heli right now. Nice kit though nothing against align I think this was a fluke.
![Default](https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
How easy is it to work on a heli? I'd guess it is a lot more complicated to take things apart, ha!
Just saw a NIB Tamiya Dump Truck on eBay went for $440 + $50 shipping.. (but include a LiPo pack as part of the deal..) Thought that's not bad...

Yeah helis are more complicated usually than cars, sometimes you have a problem that you just cannot figure out until you try many things, cars you always seem to know what the problem is.

those helis look like a lot of fun. people keep saying they're difficult though. even so i could see myself getting one... then promptly crashing it.
