RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Just finished a 15-20 min run I'll post more elsewhere. This thing is tottally cool with 19 turn team checkpoint power!
I managed to get some air, but the front shocks need some work, just bounces way too much....tamiya g-hound cheap shocks.
I do however have HPI shocks on the rear so the rear had no trouble jumping.
It does also need the stock shell on it, but I'll have to apply stickers and paint it tommorow first thing.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Going to the boat tommorow and gamble 20 bucks. Hoping to walk out with 200 or more.
Me my mom and my uncle are leaving at 9AM. I just hope we all walk away winners.
My uncle has filed bankrupcy bless his heart..[&o] Gambled 9,000 away his whole life going to the boat and still owes 7,500.
Gonna be a while before he pays all that off, Gambling is an addiction just like the r/cs are is what im saying.
You buy one rc then your tempted to try a different machine that you've never ran before.
My uncle still refuses to beileve there is no such thing as brushless motors....
He raced in the 80's & 90's and I started in 2003.
He helped built my first Blackfoot also in the 80's.

Tamiya SRB (Special Racing Buggy) series.
Their early 80's design is famous for its fibre glass chassis with rear torsion bars and front hairpin springs, using lots of metal parts.
The first was the Rough Rider, followed by the Sand Scorcher and Ford Ranger F-150 XLT. The Super Champ was the only Tamiya model to include a feature called F.F.P.D.S. (Free Floating Progressive Dampening System). This consisted of an on board oil bottle to constantly supply oil to a large rear shock absorber, which helped maintain both pressure and lubrication in the shock through hard use. Though adding weight to the car, it worked well, and Tamiya even registered a patent for the system. (www.wikipedia.de)

That's too bad, hard to tell whose fault it is the seller or the system.

LB, You've got a Wild One? Got any pics?
I'm feeling I'm gonna need a SRB at sometime, a Sand Scorcher or a Super Champ maybe. But they have crazy prices.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Hey guys, just thought I would check in with everybody. Been spending a lot of time working on the house and generally working.
I sold the Suzuki and Footworks F1, the 415 should sell in a few days as I am already getting bids.
Hope all is well with everyone, I'll be on more in a few weeks. Just busy ATM.

RE: THE LOUNGE 2
Assembly continues.... I'd estimate I'm about 10hrs worth of time into the build. Didn't expect it to take so long!
Here's a pic as it sits.
