The MPXT is a funny plane to land - perhaps that is why your new one seems to easy - the MPXT:
- holds its airspeed.
- does have a predictable but solid and large stall.
- really flies moderately quickly when its size is taken into account.
I'm still getting used to landing her. You really need to sort your speed and altitude out on base before you turn for final, otherwise this hurtling chunk of balsa/ply arrives at the strip before you know it.
Dave - the MPXT might be a reasonable third plane but just echoing what Clovus said balsa takes quite a bit of effort to repair and get straight. So work on error free flights (or at least making your errors high enough that you can recover).

Crawf .. have you got a hangover from yesterdays celebrations ?? Enjoy the no work thing for as long as it lasts! I had 8 months off 15 years ago when I took a package from Shell .. golf 3 times a week ..shame I wasn't flying back then ! Wife working .. no kids .. ahh what a life .. shame it had to end really!

G'day guys lm in Gippsland just a tad wet at the moment but l thought l'd share this baby with those that havent seen one yet
took me about 3 hours to build and it performs out of sight. Rang the states to get it arrived in 4 days and performs as the video shows
note : if you get one and havent used a mid mount prop before ....do not do what l did and launch from underneath...ummmm 9 stitches later
but l was back flying her 2 hours later
