Wingspan is 47", and I am hoping it will weigh less than 4 1/2 pounds. I will now soon. I will be putting a trusty OS .50sx on this plane with the stock muffler. Of course the baffle is removed.

Here are some pics of it assembled before the lettering goes on. The letters are cut out of ultracote by hand with scissors. I first print out what I want on the computer, and then tape it to the ultra cote. I then ask my wife very nicely to cut them out for me. I think she does a pretty good job? [8D]

Here are the pics of the finished lettering, and the plane up on it's wheels with servos installed. It's getting down to the stuff I don't like to do such as control horns and such. [:'(] But I would like to fly this tommorrow if at all possible. From box to flight in a week that has got to be a new record!

If work, and wife duties weren't in the ay I would have had this finished already! Now it's off to church, and hopefully I can resume work when I get back.

Finished! I started this last Sunday and finished it today Saturday night. 6 days total! [8D] I am very pleased with the all up weight at 4lbs, 6.5 ozs. It could be lighter, as I used heavy hitec 605 servos for the flight surfaces, and a 1100 mah nimh battery. If the weather is decent tomorrow hopefully I will get to test fly it.

These are the finished pics, and the last pic shows what comes out of the small box they are sent in. Flight report coming soon!

I flew the plane this morning! All I can say is I love it. I instantly felt comfortable at the sticks. I can't say that about every plane. I will have some in flight pics later today as soon as they get emailed to me.

The plane rolls, like mad which makes for a good rolling harrier plane. It Hovers, and TR's very very stable. and the harrier ability is great as well both upright, and inverted. Flat spins are very flat, and the tip spins are insane! Knife edge requires very little correction, and the rudder is very effective. You can whip the tail around in a harrier on a dime with a blast of power, and a quick rudder deflection. At less than 4.5 pounds that OS 50 really makes this thing scream, and with the 12-4 prop also makes it spin up pretty good in a torque roll. Waterfalls are very tight as well, I didn't find anything that I didn't like about the plane. I even let ole Smallfly fly it for the second flight and he loved it as well. I only have 3 flights so far, but will get more soon, and will have some in flight pics later today. Stay tooned!

man you get the MoJO done and all you can do it put three flights on it. Come on capthis. I am sure any plane built as good as a MOJO can handle more than 3flights a day. At that rate is going to take forever to get 100flights on it. Start wringing the plane out.

First off I had to work today. I work Sunday through Thursday! [:'(] I had to start working at noon, and that field you can't fly before about 10:00 because of the sun coming up. So I only had a 1.5 hour window of opportunity. Also I installed a used 1100mah battery that was down to 4.7 after three flights so I will be replacing it with a new one. So, I didn't want to crash the plane first day out because of a dead battery. This plane will get the crap flown out of it during the next few weeks. But all those pics Smallfly took were on it's maiden flight. Pretty good first flight if you ask me!

Anyway anbody looking to get a great flying easy to build kit should give the Mojo, a look.

Nice Job Bryan. I like the look of the tapered wing.

Hey, does Paul have a web site? He's a code jockey by day, isn't he? (ace designer and kit maker by night?)

Are you the guy that sells the "piss on RCU" stickers? Does your post mean you just pissed on yourself?

What is this????? I have no connection with Paul Swany or the guy that sells the Piss on RCU stickers. But to use a build thread which I put together to be informative and useful to some of the other guys in the funflying forum, for your own personal agenda. Kind of childish if you ask me. Then you guys wonder why people make piss on rcu stickers in the first place???????????

I don't want to start a war, or stink or anything here but for an administrator to jump on here with that kind of nonsense just really makes me wonder about you guys. Go ahead and edit this as you prolly will, but I haven't ever caused you guys no greif and I don't understand why you would want to dirty up a post with that crap on your own website? I realize I am a guest here, and will respect that but you could also exercise a little respect for your fellow RCU users. Don't you think?

Bryan,

I wasn't replying to you. I was replying to Swany's post. The Profile Brotherhood goes out of its way to bash and smear this site, despite our best efforts to allow folks of any affiliation to participate (peacefully) here. If you are offended by what I wrote, chat with Mr. Swany. I meant no affront to your build post or the content you posted.

I agree that what the Profile Brotherhood group does with their RCU stickers is childish and has no place in this hobby. We are trying to foster the hobby and communication around it. I was just stunned that he could, on one hand, make us out to be dirt and then make a post in our forum.

Why doesn't everyone just put the past behind and move forward from here.

RCU was built to help RC hobbyists. That was my goal and mission from day one. I had zero ads on RCU for almost the first 5 months and turned down money from numerous advertisers every week who asked. It wasn't about the money. The site grew so fast and took so much time and money to run that it could no longer be a labor of love. IT would have crushed under its own weight if a strategy to facilitate the unstoppable growth was not put in place. A poll was taken and 80% of the members actually wanted to see ads. This brought the economic realities into the site which where the whole probro thing basically stems from.

Michael and I are both avid rc modelers. Not just recent modelers but lifetime since we were kids. We do this in the hopes that anyone in this hobby can get value from this site. Most of the time we accomplish that. Money that comes from it is a side effect and allows the site as well as us to continue.

So the piss on RCU stickers do little to help the hobby. They likely turn off newcomers to the hobby. People come into this hobby to relax and not to find clique's or hatred. It isn't about that and some have made it about that. I know there are those who are ready and willing to put the past behind and put the hobby in front of us all. Perhaps others will get the picture and follow and then everyone will benefit.

Now back to the regular mojo programming.

Your build thread just convinced me to buy one ASAP. Has better curves than the Burrito. Looks like a great build.

Maybe I missed this somewhere in the thread but do the servo wires for the servos in the tail run inside our outside the fuselage.

Thank you RCU! (former Bro Pro who still loves profiles)

The servo wires run inside of the tube that runs down the fuse. You can also run the wires along the bottom of the fuse if you build a channel in it.

With the servos in the tail are you having any problems with it coming out too tail heavy? Personally I really like having the servo close to the surface. But with the servos in the tail a lot of times the plane gets tail heavy easy.

No worries about being tail heavy. My 605's are a little heavy, and my engine is slid all the way back. so you could always use lighter servos, and move engine forward if you had too.

Looks good Bryan,
I will get started on mine as soon as I get a couple foamies done this week. Maybe ready for test flying before the weather turns to crap. This morning wasn't a good indication of the winter we're getting into.
Later,,,Matt

If you aren't doing anything saturday, my club is having it's "Fall Fling". Sloan is coming down and I think Wayne is coming over as well. Big stuff as well as profiles are welcome.
