I've built over 20 OMP kits and really enjoyed building and flying every one. I don't blame Mike for being pissed at having anyone ripe off his designs. His kits are high quaility. Jim

I totally aggree with you but i think he should get his facts straight before he acuses any company of such deeds, specially when the company he accuses deals with the same problems every day itself and is in no way interested in copying or stealing designs! Of about the next 6 releases to come from the factory not one Aircraft is available in the same size or anywhere near the design features they will have so why would there be any need to copy something that doesnt sell well! As for you Tim,I have a right to have my say on this matter as i am in a position to know the truth and dont think you or anyone else has the right to accuse anyone of anything with out haveing done some research and can come to the table armed with facts, not dreams!

Sean i am assuming you are somehow affiliated with TMPro since I always see you posting telling everyone how great the Katana's and extra 260's fly and how durable they are. Yeah Right! Those planes are both junk in my opinion. I have seen both fail, one in the air, and one with a hit one of mike's planes would have laughed at. The only good planes you ever built were the one's mike designed. Again this is just my opinion.
Mike, try not to let this get to you and keep doing what you have always done. Design the best profiles money can buy. I am pretty sure most of the people reading this can determine who is the stand-up guy here and who is the lowlife. Take solice in the fact that your sale prices are still higher than anyone would pay for a TMPro designed plane.

hmm....intresting...
OMP break through to the ARF market was with the TMPro Katana V2, 46 and 70 size..
Mike actually was involved with the finish of the design on the Kat's..
It was the best profile for the all year OMP sold them,
everyone loved them, and it brought OMP to be one of the leaders in the profiles market..
Well, the Katana V2 are the same airplanes they were when OMP used to sell them,
so I wonder why after OMP is no longer selling them they become junk and crap..
Guess you are no more then OMP sponsor or a big fan, and people who read this
or have experience with the TMPro Kat's, understand you are.
TMPro would never steal any design, actually, if OMP would not tell TMPro produced for them
people could never tell who made the Fusions, TMPro respect designs and the people behind it and keep it in secret that much.

I think it's fair you start with the facts in the first few posts Tim. YOU KNOW and I KNOW that Mike is not telling the truth. Well at least one that is not based on fact, rather his imagination. Mike accusations are of the worst kind in this industry and as a so called "christian man" he knows what will be coming to him if he doesn't come clean with facts. I could post some passages, but he knows what they are.

It seems every month or so OMP and its friends seem to want to launch an attack on TMPro Why dont you guys just try and sell your planes and keep your customers happy we never publically down grade your business or your aircraft as a sign of respect, However You and your cronies at OMP seem to take great delight in Bagging Us so as far as im concerned you can suck my #$#%

I think it's fair that this thread deals with the facts in order. You know Tim and I know and even Mike knows that there are no facts in regards to Danny distributing these planes. Everything is based on imagination here. Grant it ... Mike has a great imagination, but it should be left in his garage. Sorry but his accusations are of the worst kind in this industry, can't be any worst. It appears his whole intention was to turn on the pot, let it boil and walk away. But I'm looking forward to his rebuttal, just wondering what approach it will be ... knowing Mike it won't be Clinton style.

Tim,
I would suggest you to stop of spreading roummers of TMPro
selling 1/4 container of Fusions to Argentina.
you are nothing but a lier, and for some reason you try to hurt TMPro's good reputation,
focus on making better airplanes insted of bashing your competitors
and for sure insted of telling lies to people online and everywhere you go...
You know nothing about TMPro, nothing about Daniel in person
and everything you say its your thoughts, so tell the truth once and let people
know you know nothing actually but only guess...
Please spare from me to start and show how many features OMP designs use that
I have personaly discussed with Mike about when visiting him and using on
TMPro airplanes...as for profiles offcurse.
Even that Piece of foam/rubber between the fuel tank to fuselage is something I taught Mike
and seems to be implemented on OMP airplanes.

Rumors is something you hear, 1/4 container of Fusions sold by TMPro to Argentina is a rumor, false and ugly one,
and you use the fact you are in China so people thinks you really know things,
no one can understand how big is china untill he been there, especialy someone has business there.
it doesnt have to be written here or somewhere alse..
and trust me Tim, I know much more then you think....much more....
I asked you nicely, please stop spreading rumors on TMPro..
If you have some facts to show, and you are not just being misslead by Mike
then please share everyone you want, I will then choose if to reply or not,
but when you tell lies to people its completly different.
I and my associates never said even 1 bad word on you, OMP, or anyone alse..
but you and Mike seems to do it whenever you have a chance..

From: Beavercreek, OH,
I will try to stick with the facts despite the above. The Fusion copy issue in Argentina started more than a year ago and I contacted both Hobby 10, Marcelo Zini, and Daniel Kerner of TMPro. No response from Gaston Luchini, the owner of Hobby 10 or Marcelo Zini. Daniel Kerner responded and sort of responded and said maybe some samples were sent to Argentina but his email was unclear as usual. When I contacted Hobby 10, Marcelo, and Daniel over a year ago regarding this issue, the webpages also mysteriously dissapeared within days. There's an interesting fact. The Illusion 90 is no kit built, it is exactly like the ARFs we are selling. You can tell by looking at the pictures of the Illusion in the sunlight and you can see the structure under the covering. There are distinct differences between the kit and the ARF. These are facts. Plus all the hardware on the Illusion is the same Chinese hardware on the ARFs. Don't think I've ever included that hardware in my kits......no, I'm sure I have not.
And for the record Daniel, OMP started down the ARF business long before you and TMPro came along or the Kats. And the Kats entered the states also before TMPro came along. From what I know the kats are a generic Chinese design. They do not belong to Accel Hobbies, OMP, nor TMPro. You are a broker for the kats. Now I will give you credit for doing some good things but my designs are 100% mine as they always have been. There was a referrence to Quinn Coldren's designs being stolen by you. In your defense I believe that was actually Accel Hobbies which redistributed those designs.
Sean, if you work for or have a relationship with TMPro (which you do) then perhaps you should include that in your tag line so there is no misunderstanding. We all want honesty here so include your affiliations to avoid hidden agendas.
The bottomline is this hobby world is too small to be stealing designs from other companies. Hobby 10 and Gaston Luchini need to contact OMP to resolve. Daniel, you need to make sure the factory you passed my designs to do not redistribute OMP products. Wasn't that what your job was, not to mention the right thing to do.

Mike you know darn well Danny had nothing to do with this and before you start accusing anyone of anything, you should find out who actually made the Illusion before making strong accusations like this. I'm pretty sure I know where you were around noon today and I know what those people tell you about accusations and passing judgment against others. It's not that hard to make kit or ARF copies in this industry and the chinese are not by a long shot stupid when it comes to copycating. You jumped the gun, you know it, Tim knows it and now you are just trying to backpeddle.
I know I wasn't the greatest business partner. But one thing I could not stand at OMP is the fact you wanted everyone and anyone to know about OMP and how they handle their business inside outside and all around. This is yet a perfect example. I'm sure the email between you and the Pro Bros are flowing like a river right now.
Looking forward to your full apology to one of the only people in this industry that has a backbone.

Looking at the "viewers" list it looks like a old reunion. Now all we need is Accel Hobbies and we can have a hoot. Now I'm going back to my shop to make profiles.

Mike,
I wonder why when it comes to fact, my e mails start to be not clear..
I wonder how you communicated with me until this mistory e mail you mentioned..
Lucky me to be saving e mails for 3 years back, I took it out from its archive
and it confirmed what I said, few Fusions was shipped to Israel and you knew it,
it was OMP boxes, OMP trim and all was clear out.
You are geniuos in design, and make the best airplanes ever made for many many years,
you can look at picture and tells who make the airplane, what glue was used, etc... wonderfull,
but this is the worst crapp I read in all this stupied thread.
Like S T Pilot said, if you have fact that proove Daniel from TMPro sold even 1 Fusion copy or not to Argentina
so bring it out and let him confront with the facts, BUT, if you don't...do whats right then.
As far it it concern to me, all OMP designs are safe with me (Include the Edge V3 we worked on)
and no one can pull it out from me without my permition...
As for the TMPro Katana V2. I dont understand what mean I broker it for someone alse?!
So working with you personaly on the V2 design is a dream I had?
OMP had the 46 ARF's made by Accel brokering for them, maybe that whats confuses you Mike, But I am not Accel.
The Katana V2 46 and 70 size were the best sellers for OMP, gladley, they are still very popular and great airplanes,
Another Rumor I heard is Tim suggestion to copy my Katana V2 and cut prices down..
Mike, please explain Tim how bad this idea is !!
I really sorry for all this ****, when I met OMP team they were so nice persons
and I really hoped to make great realationship with them...
shame things turned to be so ugly !

Well I know I was no angel at OMP. But one thing that Mike loved to do was bring everyone into his business life. Told everyone everything about how OMP handles their business and affairs. Never saw any other company out there blabb about who does their manufacturing .... that certainly opens a lot of doors for competitors to find away to beating you at your own game. I'm sure the emails are flowing like a river from him to the Pro Bros right now.
Mike you know and I know ... and I know Tim knows that Danny did not ship your planes to anyone. Nor would he ever condone a factory doing it. Danny is the only person I ever met in this industry, yes myself included, that has a backbone.
But you passing judgment against someone certainly discredits a few things you told me about yourself.
