to tell you the truth i think that a plane crach is much worse. my dad has crashed 3 times since juse when we started. and i have not crashed yet..........nock on wood.........but every time h crashed there were hundresds of peices to pick up, i dont think a car will dive in nose first and blow up into very many pieces. on my dads crash the whole fuseloge was gone, split right down the middle, we found the engine about 100 feet in front of the plane, and the gasstank still connected which went right through the firewall. it was a kool crash though.

Naaa, you don't need a new tranny. Grub screws are common. If you can't decipher the manual for right size screw, then bring it to a LHS, they usually will have a bunch and one will fit. Its a small one, probably 3x3, but I am not sure of the right size. I don't have the manual, maybe someone else does, and can check, but I think there is a spring under the grub screw, which controls the shift point, so you might need that too. Hopefully, someone with a manual can check.

Doc, I think that grub screw is history! I can look into the hole and just see the threads... Do they even sell just that screw, or do I have to buy a *gulp* new transmission??? I was wondering about that hole the first time I looked at it, and wondered if a screw went missing...
As for the HPI easy start, $50???? That's crazy! To remove a 'more' complicated pull start, to just install a plate with hex in it??? WOWSERS! I guess I will just fix the recoil instead...

Cato - if you just hit the "Reply" or "Quote" link in the top right of this text box OR if you hit the "Post Reply" link near the bottom left of the page, then a different text editor will pop up and under the text field it will say "Click here to upload images". There you go......
As for direct fit servos....... If you got the money, I would recomend:
Steering = http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXUZ89&P=ML
Throttle = http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXH288&P=ML
If you don't have the $ for the the steering servo, then you can get 2 of those throttle servos, it just might not last as long using the S3003 for steering.

rcmaster5123, use a proxy server to get on at school. google "proxy", or "myspace proxy", and you will find something that will work. when you use one of those your network administrator only sees myspaceproxy.com or what ever one you decide to use, instead of seeing the real site.

If you look at the jet crashing into the trees, just before the left turn, you can see pieces coming off the jet, like he lost control mechanisms or something... Either way, I think it was aircraft malfunction, not pilot error.
I like my Traxxas servo so far. Seems to work fine and is a stock fit.

That's why I sold my smartechs for more of a name brand.
Your last choices are ebay, dinball.com, or bensrc.com.
No place seems to have the perfect combo, of cheap parts, fast shipping, or good customer service. [:@]

do you know what part number it is for the dog bones from the diff to the wheels? numbers i got in the manual are 11432 78mm 2p, 11433 65mm, 11434 73mm, and can you also tell me what the others are for the arnt for the drive shaft. are they the ones from the tranny to front and rear diffs?
