sweet, you know where i can get those shocks and springs? and i like your rims they look sweet, i want to change the wheels on mine too, i just dont want to put to big of tires on it and lose power or acceleration, also know where to get some good offset wheels as well i cant really seem to find some decent looking chrome rims that will fit.

got the shocks at rc-mart.com, theyre called yeah racing. would have sent you a link but their website seems to have some trouble.. very slow. Im sure you can get them elsewhere. Think they were 9 or 10 $ a pair. rims are HPI, i`m sure you can get them almost everywhere they sell rc equipment. I bought mine at my LHS. I dont want to recommend you that kind of tires as they are to wide to get a good grip, if you want onroad tires go for smaller rims and tires to match. want to get some good offroad tires to go with these rims, just hasnt gotten so far yet

ok well today was a fun and hard day....bent my front left drive shaft, so i fixed that....and then ran it some more and lost the driveshaft that connects from the brake to the front gear box and makes the front wheels spin...does any one know what the part number is for that part? in the manual there is a 65mm univ. shaft, a 78mm univ. shaft, and a 73mm univ. shaft, which one do i order...i lost it so i cant measure it...please help

codykrr, try measuring all your univ. shafts, and find out the size of the one your missing by what one you don't have. kinda hard to explain! i looked in my book, and i understand what you mean.the size also depends on whether you have a one speed, or a two speed

man this sucks....i also lost the cuplink that the drive shaft goes in im gunna look in the spot i think it may have fallen out at to see if its there....i flipped it good, bent the front left driveshaft really bad....but nothing some bending wont fix....i mean i can still drive it but the 2 wheel drive sucks...just the slightest turn and doughnuts. to bad it isnt wet here again, id go drifting, and today i bought some 15% fuel and wow it acually runs better, better acceleration and top speed seems to me, and it was good priced, $15.99 20% is $27.00 a gallon...

yeah, i dont get it....the parts from my lhs are cheap....well just about everything there is except the fuel....i dont know...maybe thats where he makes his money....i just bought the 15% because it was cheaper, and surprizingly it seemed to have made a difference in my car...more acceleration and top speed. i dont see how, but it is...ok...well i have narrowed the parts down to what i need, i lost universal ball joint d, inner hexagon screw m4*3, e ring 4mm, and washer 5*.2still, and i still dont know what size drive shaft goes to the front gearbox, and does anyone know the part numbers for these so i can order them and is raidentech.com a good source for parts

yeah i think so too, because it is a pretty little space from the brake cup to the gear box....but for now i got a 2 wheel drive buggy.....its hard to drive...just wants to do doughnuts......hahaha and i dislike my neighbors, so i drove up by there car and flung rocks all over there car....
maybe that will teach em from letting there kid throw rocks at my car and my door...and if it didnt, well i guess ill go to better measures like put a homeade spike strip down hahaha or have my stepdaughter beat there kid up...hahaha i love my life....and i was wondering...is raidentech a good spot for parts....my hobby shop guy is gunna start stocking me parts...but i have to buy at least one of each part made for this buggy....oh well guess il have alot of spares....

Cody - I heard raidentech was good, they just rarely have parts in stock. But they have decent prices and shipping. I got one of those neighbors too! [:@]
DSB - You CANNOT run an open header system. The tuned pipe not only harmonically balances pressure waves to the engine, it supplies pressure to the fuel tank to force fuel into the carb. No pipe means no fuel and your engine won't run very long without it, unless you can figure out a way to pressurize the fuel tank, without the pipe. These engines sound awesome with just the header though!

really? wow! Whenever my pipe would fall, off the engine would quit running after about 30 seconds. Maybe your engine creates such a good vacuum that it keeps sucking in fuel. I don't think there is any problems with running without a pipe, so if it keeps running, then go for it!

only thing is the header isnt made for my buggy the exhaust oil shoots on the right rear tire so after i run it i have to take it down to the frame and clean it but im working on making a pipe that runs from header throught the frame and out the back i might try to make it look like duals exhaust

well i ordered from excelhobby too hopefully they didnt rip me off....ill make a roadie[:@] and make them give me parts and my money. i was going to order from raidentech but there as confusing as the manual that came with the car....wrote by a non english speaking person getting translations from a monkey....and plus they didnt have the parts i need...so i hope excelhobbies dont rip me off...i have made good friends with the better buisness bureau
and it WILL be resolved if that happens...if they rip you off just go to WWW.bbb.com they will get money back for you or your parts. yeah my tires on my buggie are now slicks.....i went drifting today it rained and its 2 wheel drive for now..till these parts get here...it was fun....i had that thing sliding around everything...i got pretty good till i ran out of fuel. and im gunna do it some more later..see if i cant get some holes wore into these tires...also i was wondering ...this may be a dumb question...but are there like mini dyno's for these cars...haha that would just be great...

i ran my buggy for about 2 tanks today until a screw fell out after a jump. i landed on only 2 wheels, and one of my rear dog bones fell out. i found my dog bone with a magnet and put my car back together. all i need is a new screw. hopefully they have them at the hardware store.

Well I adjusted the car settings the other day & ran my car after the initial run in. It went really well but when the fuel ran out I couldn't get it started again. I need to go back to a carb setting that will at lest get it started, can anyone suggest where to start?
A couple of things I have noted whilst trying to get it going are that it does't have any head shims, is this normal as the manual seems to shows 2 fitted?
Also when I take the glow plug out to test it the very end of the wire does't glow just the coil that goes down inside plug, is this nomal or could it be my problem?
Any advise would be appreciated as I would like to get out over the weekend again to have a play.
Many thanks.

what head shims? my glow plug doesn't glow on the last coil either. any way for your first 5-10 tanks you should use factory setting which are about 3 turns out on the high and low speed ''around 2 if you have your engine broken in," and the carb should have a really small gap when at idle. try turning up your throttle trim a few graduations while you start it.
