Those LED'S are ***** dope lol. Sorry havent been around for a while school always takes up a lot of time for me...As far as modifying all these tycos and installing brushless systems and trying to make them work, I dont know about it...It seems like one wrong move and you stripped all your gears and then its done. Unless you want to go out and get them machined and reinstall them bu I think we should appreciate them for what they are. I took my fast traxx out the other day and yes it was stupid slow lol...I couldnt believe the box of my super fast traxx says that its actually faster than the original, in my opinion its not at all. Maybe I should use a LIPO 7.4v battery and see what happens lol.

Oh man I can't believe people are still interested in this little car as much as I am. I JUST bought one last week on eBay. I got the one that was in best condition. Ended up snipping it from someone so I got an awesome price! Unfortunately, there is a small problem with it but I'm not sure what it is yet, that's this weekend's project, other than that this little thing runs GREAT! I'm hoping to upgrade it later if the motors ever fail but there are 2 so I'm not sure if it will need 2 ESC's. If you guys want to see some photos of the insides I can snap a few and you guys can tell me what you think. Hey malice23 do you have any good pics of the guts of your Super Fast Traxx?

Hey guys, I have the original mini typhoon hovercraft. I don't have the TX for it. Do you guys think the Tx for the fast traxx would work? Since it has the dual up and down sticks? I also have the old Rip Tide boat, and I still use it. When I was a kid I had almost all of the tyco r/cs. Do you guys remember the Heads up Wild Thing, or the Hammer? It was a M/T.

if its the same frequency it should work. As far as the hammer I actually bought one from germany on ebay and when it was sent to me the TX was in horrible condition and wouldnt work so I never go the truck to work right. Unfortunately I had to sell it.

I got one that is like a fluorescent greenish yellow. The gear selector doesn't stay and the battery cover hinge is broke.

Yeah I was looking at those Tycos on ebay, I can't believe the bandit and the others are going for so much, makes me wish I had held on to all of mine, I'd could be rolling in some cash....lol....that is if anybody would pay that much for them. I doubt anyone is gonna give that much for one of those, you can get a heck of a good hobby grade r/c for $450.

Yeah I had a black pickup. It dominated everything that we had around. I wish I could have another one.

hi

You know the fast traxx right. At the rear it has a button for L/H gears, what are those used for?

Low gives you more torque, High gives you top speed.

Ya I made the same mistake a couple of years ago. I bought some F150 truck and it was real nice but weak as hell and slow as **** lol. The old tycos are the best and built wayyy better. Dont even try to compare..just invest in the vintage stuff. BTW... if anyone is interested I have a 6v turbo python for sale as well as a tyco 6v samurai both with working remotes batteries and chargers. I also have the box and display stand for the samurai. Let me know if you're interested.
