RE: Thunder Tiger Electric offroad
5k in front and 1k in rear right now. It keeps diffing out in the rear so proably try 2-3next time.
Alot of Dex guys are using 10/5 to start with.... Thats the only geared diff 10th scale buggy Im aware of.
Also setting the slipperjust tight enough to when on hard accel the front endpulls the buggy out of turns.
Shocks: If your having issue with the shocks blowing out you can get some heat shrink and put it over those caps. Worked like a charm on the vendettas.

mantamuzza - those are Gladiators, right? I put a set on my Stadium Thunder, they grip like no tomorrow. Love that tire.

It is full carbon fiber chassis top and bottom plates, both shock towers. Alum. front steering blocks and carriers. Alum. rear hub carriers. Castle Mamba max and 4600 motor. I have 30 in all four shocks, 5k diff fluid in front and 3k in the back, I run Losi yellow springs on rear and TT red on front.

That sounds like a good setup. Show us a pic with the lid off. How do you like the carbon fiber chassis, is it worth the money for that upgrade?
I need to tune the differential. I was thinking 10k front , 5k back.

RE: Thunder Tiger Electric offroad
I'm running a Castle 4600kv in mine and it's pretty quick. I have a 3 cell lipo coming this week so I'll be getting it ready for some speed runs. I have Castle 1410 3800kv motor sitting in its box, I plan on running that motor with the 3 cell lipo.
Also I'm waiting for Tower to get parts in stock so I can get a order placed so I can fix the front end.

I havent had any issues with anything other then the front arms. They suffer alot when you use the pipes and car to play plinko..
