FALCON HEAD/ CONTROL ROD PROBLEM

When I had what I call a mild crash with my Falcon I pulled the head off and I took the main shaft out and let a machine shop straighten it out.
Look at the picture and you will see the top of the control rod hitting the underside of the blade holder with the swash plate tilted back.
Then look at the 2nd picture of my other Falcon I have.
Notice the slight bit of clearance.
I tried everything but can't correct the problem
Anyone have a fix for this?
Thanks

Your picture is hard to see exactly what your talking about, could it be that the swash has separated from it's bearing? If so, squeeze it back together and put a tiny drop of CA on the bearing outer race so it can't pull up again. If this isn't the problem then you need to either get a better picture, preferably in outdoor lighting or, with a flash.

Gary,
The #1 picture shows very clear the control rod touching the undersude of the blade holder
OK,
I took 2 more against a white wall and used the flash.
The # 1 picture shows the control rod hitting the underside of the blade grip.
Now look at the 2nd picture and see all the clearance I have.
The swash plate is good.
It will still fly a slong as I don't tilt the rotors to far.

to me it seems like the links that go to your flybar need to be evened out. One seems alot longer than the other (the one that is hitting would be the longer one)... that's just my guess, I don't own this heli. If you didn't adjust them, I would try swapping sides, and see if that doesn't make a difference.

This is what bugs me.
Before the crash I had both sides evened out and appx 1/8th "threads showing on both sides.
Well, I took both off and I turned them both in until the threads were bottomed out so now that problem is solved.
I didn't try tracking the blades because when the swash plate is tilted all the way back one of those black links I guess is worn and turns to much on the ball and hangs up.
I have a bag of new ones here but I still would like to find out why I could not keep the other settings.
I tied some light nylon thread on the head to hold that rod in place and it gave no problems.
I looked at the other Falcon and the ends are screwed out of 1/2 the threads on the rod.
Well, I did fire it up and it's looking good and when I went up a bit on the pitch the slight tail jump I had went away.
So it looks like I just have to track the blades and start from scratch.
Their not that far off and I did lift the weight of the heli off the training balls so it flying.
Thanks for responding.
When I dive into something new I really appreciate all the help others offer

If you look close at the first picture you can see how far down the links are screwed on to the rod.
Then look at picture # 2 and you can see at least 1/2 of the threads coming out of the link.
I had those blades in a real nice even track so i'm not sure why I had to make them even shorter then what you see in picture # 2
Well, it's all back together and now I can turn that main gear by hand and it's feeling nice and smooth.
Have a nice Wednesday:-)
