Default crashed heli multi problems..help!

I crashed my dynam e-razor 450 heli, and have a few issues resulting, can anyone please help me with these?......outlined below.

1) Servos attached to the swashplate do not move with left side joystick ( all three ),......they work fine with the right

2) Main and tail rotors turn indepently sometimes, intermittantly,......sometimes they catch and at times turn together like they are supposed too.

3) I notice that I can turn the main prop blade with my finger in both directions, it should turn in one direction only.

4) horizontal tailblade broke in half, ( Is'nt that thing just put there for looks anyway...its not really needed is it? )

if someone could help me to correct these 4 issues I would be most appreciative, thanks!

# 1 Did you plug in the servos yourself, or was it plugged in at the factory?

# 2 Loose belt, or loose tail pinion(s)?

#3 Normal

#4 I assume you mean "tail fin", Not really needed for the flying you'll be doing for now... Hovering.

About #4... Did it break because of a main blade strike?? Your feathering and main shaft have a great possibility of being bent right now.

You should post a vid or pic of the problems.

The servos were put in by the factory,  as for the heli belt,  it is not loose or anything like that,  the tension seems ok,.....and yes,  I meant the horizontal tail blade,  not the vertical fin,  like the ones that stick up in the back of a shark,.....this one is like the ones that come out the sides of his abdomen for horizontal stability.

Ok. It's really called a 'Tail Fin' not tail blade...... How did it break?? Tail blades are something different.

Is there any way the transmitter will move the 3 cyclic servos??? That's the main and biggest problem so far.

FYI: For safety sake, unplug your motor (2 of the 3 wires will do) and do all your checks then.

ok you are right on the tail fin,   its the vertical,   the horizontal is called the horizontal stabilizer in the book,  ( dont know how I missed that calling it a blade) ....the way it broke is it along with the tail boom caught the edge of an object,   and you were right again,   it slightly bent the tail boom but not the feather shaft ( good guess) but not enought to affect the tail boom operation,  just slightly bent ( barely)....about the 3 cyclic servos,   I can move them with the right side joystick but the left side joystick does not move them,  it only works the throttle turning the main rotor but there was a squeaking noise and the the main rotor and tail rotor intermittantly turn in unison,  sometimes the main rotor turns and the tail rotor does nothing,  then it will turn again all on its own,   I cant figure this thing out,  all connections along the feather shaft are tight and the belt tension is ok.

i have never had one of these 450's, but as far as the intermittent turning of the main rotor and tail, it sounds like your one-way bearing is bad. that is what allows the main gear, which is normally attached directly to the motor pinion, to engage with the tail drive gear. no problem that the main rotor turns in both directions. normally when you turn it cc, just the main gear and motor should turn, but when turned clockwise, both top and bottom gears should turn without slipping. if the heli was spooled up during the crash, it could have put the one-way bearing in a bind when the tail hit and damaged it. i went online and looked at the manual for your heli and from what i saw, if your idle mode pitch and normal mode pitch adjustments are not set up properly (i.e. o pitch, ect) for each flight mode, then your swash is not going to work properly. you should do as suggested earlier and UNPLUG the motor and go through the manual and make sure they are set up properly. its not forthcoming with a lot of info, but it will take you through basic setup. also check that all switches on the tx are in the proper position. i wouldnt worry about the fin, but i would replace the boom the first chance i got, just to avoid any issues later. i dont know if you have the manual, but here it is if you dont..........[link]http://www.dynam-rc.com/download/E-RAZOR450.pfd[/link]

its good to check everything after a crash. if the blades hit, your main shaft and spindle could be bent also. it just may be hard to tell because you havent got the head up to speed..............get back to us, let us know. hope this helped...........td

trex 450, trex 500, trex 600, srb quark, blade 400............

....about the 3 cyclic servos, I can move them with the right side joystick but the left side joystick does not move them, it only works the throttle turning the main rotor
Are you saying when you move the LEFT stick UP and DOWN (collective/throttle), the 3 servos do not move up or down in unison??

Tail: your pinion(s) may be slipping from the mishap you encountered.

I know you're new, so I'll give you an R/C heli part terminology tip (plz do not take offense [8D])... The 'Feathering Shaft' OR sometimes called the 'Spindle' cannot be seen, it's the shaft going horizontal through the headblock connecting the main blade grips. The 'Tail Rotor Shaft' has the tail pinion gear and tail blade assembly mounted to it.... This shaft can't tolerate ANY bend whatsoever.
