Default Venture Problems???

I have a Venture and had two problems so far.

1) The biggest problem so far has been the plastic motor mount. The nuts (2 out of the 4) that drop into the motor mount slots are turning when I tighten the bolts that hold the mount to the frame. It is VERY frustrating and I can't figure out how to properly secure the mount to the frame.

2) My engine shaft nut has vibrated loose 2 times on me. I did use locktight on it.

I am a newbie and was just curious if anyone else has had thes problems.

Otherwise it has flown GREAT! I'm starting to ease into forward flight after 22 flights over the past two weeks.

Default Venture Problems???

1. Get an aluminium motor mount for an Ergo 30, it bolts right in.

2. What are you using to lock the crankshaft while you tighten the crankshaft nut? A good way to do so is to remove the engine's backplate, and stick a plastic toothbrush handle in between the crankshaft throw and the crankcase while you tighten the nut down.

Default OK

I had none of those problems . Did you mount the Engine mount to the frame before you put engine in it..?

For the second problem , I would say it really is not a problem . All you gotta do is what Woody218 said . Do that along with blue locktite . Make sure that while you start to tighten keep pushing the crank shaft towards the front .
