The rear holes have been the same since the first Flash, if they open the hole nearer perfect, more chance of the top seam cracking during transport.

Yes, they are aware of the gear issue and its being looked into to find where this has crept in.

I have a Behotec electric gear with integrated steering servo and have seen the electron. They look similar. Much more precise ground handling then pull-pull.

Retracts C-36/2 question;

Just want to know what everyone is using to lube/maintain their C-36/2 retract shaft and lock mechanism area?

-It was suggested to me to use a few drops of dry ice or a silicon spray.

Thanks!

I like to use a dry lubricant such as lock smith's graphite powder on the screw threads and trunion tracks, this will not attract dust as oil or wet lubricants do

Where would I find that? I was also suggested to use dry ice from dreamworks or a silicone spray from a auto parts store. Is this all essentially the same thing?

Latest Ultra Flash owner Dave collected his kit this afternoon. Conversation got around to the fact that our local grass flying club has twelve Ultra Flash models (and a few Classic Flashes!) The UF models are powered by a range of turbines (all JetCat) P-90, P-100, P-120, P-140 and P-180...talk about versatile!

Still the best sports jet available IMO.

We had a great day flying at our local strip today, sky was clear, so only a 12-15mph wind made it anything other than a perfect flying day (OK, the chill in the air too)
Little Stevie had his recently completed Swiss scheme Ultra Flash out for its first grass session. I have only sold a few Swiss schemes...strange as it suits the airframe so well.
This one has stock CARF gear, an old JetCat P-120 and JR DMSS radio.
Cockpit and a few stickers are coming.

Is that a custom scheme? I sure wish they would have had that scheme when I bought mine earlier this year,I ended up buying the yellow/black/white one,, That is a great looking UF far better than the Crappy lookin blue one they call the military scheme,,

Its Custom scheme, but Carf have this scheme for the Euro so sure it was straight forward.
I have wanted this Bird and scheme for a long time. Love a Sports jet with a good Military scheme. Will start building shortly and the Jet Munts 14xbl should be here any day..:-)

Have you seen the new paint scheme for the ultra flash? CARF calls it Black Falcon I like it so much that I am going to paint my thunderbird scheme like it. I am hoping it is easer to see in the air? Its being sold here in US Andy Cane is taking orders and has sold 6 or more already. I tried to load 3 views but could not. Maybe you have some pictures of it?

Funny, I just started the layup for my Reaction 54 Jet in that same scheme. It's the korean airforce black eagle scheme. They use a rocwell t50. Very cool on the UF. Was thinking about one for jet #2. I almost hate they did it as I'd hate to have two in that scheme. We'll see.

Thanks for the all the info on the Black Eagles team. They look very good. It sure looks like the UF scheme is very close to the air teams? Hope it does not mess up your paint scheme on your reaction 54. At least I know where it came from?
