Hi Dave. . .
No, not as of today (holiday here) so perhaps tomorrow.
Custom parts are scheduled to arrive from Chriqui today via UPS.
Sadly, all work must wait until after Florida Jets .
Regards,
Eric

With the Habu 32 finished, I'm back on the Vampire.
Need to finish fitting the other wing out with its door ram, but while doing it, I decided to add some of the missing rivets on the servo covers. Brass tube with the end rough in a drill...

As far foward as possible!
I will start looking at my install later this week. I will use a Powerbox, the Vampire will require nose weight, so any heavy item mount as far foward as possible

ok Dave...send me your installation photo when done...
the emcotec or powerbox , rx ,must to be accessible to service but is not possible to fit
under the cockpit
i think that should be cut the nose to create a panel access like full size plane...or fitted between cockpit and inlet duct

No, I thought of flat area under cockpit, but there is only 12mm space. I think Rx on the fuselage side next to instruments, maybe PB mounted upside down about nose unit-I need to see what is possible...

It would be easy to lower the two wood platforms either side of the nose steering servo...or use the space under these?
I will probably use a Powerbox Evolution which is very compact.

Wings now finished except painting control horns and making air connections.
Air lines clipped away with MAP airline clips. Blue line closes doors...blewup

I Tried to install emcotec in the nose...
very nice installation ...but....
i must to elevate the position of EMCOTEC due to gear air cilinder nipple..very close ...then is impossible to extract EMCOTEC after
then i change the position to the rear of the cockpit [

Finally got the fuselage in the workshop tonight. Quality is really very good, with nice joints, additional bracing and fit.
Fuselage flaps need to go in before anything else can be completed.

i check the nose gear retraction cycle and i see that the gear panel need a new air cylinder
with much travel like than original because the panel when it is open is very close to wheels movement..
and with air flow during flight cause trouble in photo...

Been working on the Vampire between flying and family stuff. Tried posting pixs several times[:@]
So words first, then I'll try pixs
Openings for air and servo leads. The Fuselage flaps have no detail inside, so added some rivet detail (non scale positions)
Also finished setting up the radio-I always do the major programming during the build, then I know what servo will connect to which PB or Rx channel. I spend time matching servo centering, but did not expect to get away with 2 flap channels...as I have! I was going to use a matchbox, but I have near perfect set up, take-off and landing postions on all four flaps, using just two channels-2+2 servos.

Nose gear door.
keep the hinges on the edge of the door, so that as it openings it moves clear of the curved fuselage.
I chamfered the door edge to give clearance over the reasonably deep recess.
